I dont like it when our sheikhs keep on branding Allah as ' the most merciful '. They should mention his other attributes. people keep forgetting. ALLAH is Almuntaqim. THE AVENGER.
@jihadulnafs every Surah 'brands' & starts with Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem' the avenger as you put it is for the rebellious, for the pious and the slaves, he is Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem. These are his biggest attributes, thats why are are urged to keep asking for forgiveness. look at vs: 6-12 " Allah has inscribed for himself the rule of Mercy. our sheiks are dealing with muslims that have faith &beleive and commit sins, this is the way to bring them back to repentence by showing Allahs mercy.
@Sncc1 these so called muslims who commit sins have left islam without realising it. We are told by the prophet himself that anyone who leaves thier salah is a KAFIR. Now, how many 'muslims' have left their salah?
Many 'muslims' commit shirk by loving others like they should love Allah. They follow and obey others. Islam is being lost in our own homes.
@jihadulnafs Listen brother, only Allah SWT knows whats in the hearts and the nafs of the people. You cannot refer to anyone as Kaffir; you arent the judge; your opinions are harsher than anything i have read in the Quran. Over all is Allah (swt)the guardian and witness; our matters in what we may differ will be settled before Allah (swt); we are only to compete eachother in good deeds.

Allah tells us many times to obey the messenger , and the prophet of Allah told us that the difference between a muslim and a kafir is the Salah. Those who have left thier salah have left islam. I see it today my brother, 'muslims' only fridays for jumaah and if you wer to go to fajr in you masjid, you will then see a diiference. Remember, Hypocrites find it hard to perform fajr.

@maghzooby the answer to that is, that ALLAH says"O my slaves who have transgressed themselves, do not despair the mercy of your lord", ALLAH is telling us that if you have fallen into sin do not think that ALLAH will not have mercy upon you, rather if you keep repenting ALLAH will forgive unless you commit shirk.
@maghzooby You can ask for forgiveness 100 times, and HE (Allah) will forgive , He will tell and talk to you because HE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES you. Alas ! human is unaware...
PLEASE be harder on yourself than what this guy is telling you, or you will be in a viscous cycle of constantly commiting Zina and then repenting.
