  • doing my dissertation on Gordon at the moment. a fine politician.

  • I think the public should be forced to watch videos like this, so they have a GOOD idea of who to vote for. Not just 'the other one'

  • Great men great leader for this country :-) we need him back

  • Come back Gordon all is forgiven.

  • i liked him

  • Great speech.Directed more at the press and those who stabbed him in the back.

Thing is, here he is talking to Labour people and has nothing to lose and is making some of us wonder why he is no longer there. He had a job to do and the gravitas to succeed but not as an entertainer. Is that what we want?

    Come back Gordon!

  • This man needs to be here now to lead the country in its economic difficult duties and sustaining economic communities .

  • Gordon Brown = Great leader.

  • People dont need cameron. He is an upper class person trying to pretend he knows about working class problems. Another torie gorernment......

    NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

i want to keep my milk!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @camym13 I share your concern and was devistated when he became prime minister, but not to worry Labour supporters, thes Tory government wont last the year, fresh elections in 2011 ant Cameron is OUT

  • Labour, "Fighting For Britain".

David Cameron is just too weak in every way.

I voted Labour. I enjoyed ticking that box. :)

I can't believe my mum voted BNP! Shame on her.

  • I spoke with 5 nuses on facebook the other day, as a result they did some online blind test. Had am email to say 4 of them voted Labour as a result based on polocies and values.

I guess the nurses know about the NHS, and I guess the polocies spoke to them.

  • I think everybody should vote Labour because Gordon Brown is a very sincere person who says what he means.

  • apparently labour screwed up the nhs, but lets not forget, which party made the nhs, Labour, why because they're a party for the people, it's something that benefits EVERYONE, what does camerons want, thing that benefit the rich, so why do people think they're the way forward, tory government equals an increase in taxes that mainly effect the lesser payed, all cameron fights for is the rich, VOTE LABOUR, VOTE FAIR BRITAIN

  • the people who who say gordon brown is the worst priminister and are backing the tories they need to realise. going back on a few years when the tories were in power nearly everyone lost there jobs england was a shitole. but then labour came in made the minimum wage to 5.38p per hour and millions got there jobs back

now gordon brown got us out of the ressesion you all need to realise that labour do the best for this country and dont turn your back on them

  • World War III or a Tory government? Which is preferable? I'm getting a stash of corned beef in. Happy days.

  • This is my message to those undecided voters out there.

Don`t turn your back on a Government that has done so much for you ALL since coming to power in 1997. Yes there have been mistakes and Gordon Brown is unique in addmitting to them. He is an honest man, a man who has your interests at heart. Labour polices are begining to show results, don`t think for one moment that "Thatchers Children" have the answer. they have not and never will. It is your counties future that is at stake, Vote Labour!

  • im happy with labour, im working class!

  • @THELANDSCAPER100 I am happy with labour I am a public sector worker. My job is so easy! Thanks Gordon owe you one.

  • im happy with labour, im working class!

  • Vote labour for the sake of our country.

  • I admired how he immediately apologised to Gillian Duffy. No Tory politician would have done that. It'll probably swing a large number of floating voters to Labour.

  • get in there Gordie!

  • Maybe Tory's and Lib Dem's should watch the first few minutes of this, before they start ignoring what Labour have done and following the media's poor view on Labour (Probably because a lot is owned by the Tory's.) I am Labour and have never seen this to be fair, now I know 100% I want them to stay in!

  • He's got a face like a pun ae mince but he get's my vote.

  • God, I hope Labour win. For the good of this great country.

  • @ToManyPhones true that!

  • @ToManyPhones amen!

  • i hope he wins.

  • im voting labour always have believed in their policies Im with ya Brown

  • @ccwmangaman 100% agree with you!

Why would you take money out of the ecomony now? labour want to put money back in and not touch a balanced system

Cancer patients now guaranteed to be seen in 2 weeks!!

Afghan... My Brother has just gone out there and he said he is overwhelmed with the amount of kit he has!

Labour has done a fantastic job. I'm 22 yet know about the tories years even if it was before my time.

labour spent too long making up for there mistakes! don't let it happen again!

  • what are Labour going to do about the inequalities facing parents after divorce, what are you going to do to stop non resident parents mainly fathers needing to go through lengthy and expensive court hearings just to see and maintain a relationship with their own children and are you going to compensate the people who have already been treated in this way

  • @greatwhitepoet i'll tell you something, we now have one of the fastest growing economies in europe thanks to Gordon brown and Labour. We are recovering from the recession at the moment, if Davey boy gets in and has his way, 6 billion will be taken out of our economy, which might have terrible consequences and plunge us into a double dip recession. Dont believe the tory lies, dont vote for Lord ashcroft, vote labour.

  • @Christopher9867 so why is the pound down to the euro?

  • What the fuck? Conscription? I was a Tory supporter as well...fuck that shit...I'm not sending my kids off to go and die in war...

  • If you want to see your house on LOW INTEREST payments, keep Labour

If you want to LOSE your house, Choose conservatives [15% 1990's]

  • @BoyBangla What about all of us who didnt take out rediculase mortgages to payfor houses we couldnt afford shouldnt we have the chance to buy our house. I want a housing correction the prices are way too high compared to wages

  • Who really thinks the lib dems, green party or BNB are going to win the 2010 election? I mean really they are too far behind and this year in 2010 they may seem an attractive alternative for some but the they wont get in because they never have high unity in voting.

  • im not a great fan of labour but considering the Tories plan to bring in conscription to the armed forces, and this will efect my children ,they will certainly not get my vote this time!!!

  • I will big-up, however, against a patronising Tory style which thinks it is better than everyone else and deserves, by some spurious right, to government. Britain is to be pitied if majority ordinary people are swayed by some peculiary, albeit, attractive illusion toward voting Conservative come early May 2010. They will rue the day they ever dared imagine Tory was one of them or that they, in their poll-day misfortune misguidedly aligned themselves to the Conservatives.

  • labour to win

  • I'm voting labour

  • Woooh yeah, I love Labour baby

  • Not just Tories who hate Labour. Many Lib Dems and anyone who cares about civil liberties do too.

  • Tories are a bunch of turds. How anyone could trust an idiot like Osborne with our economy

  • I went down the comments and thumbed up the Tory / BNP vote bots.

Im 25 and have never voted before, but I will be voting for Labor this year because it matters more than ever that our most capable political party remains in power.

  • I'm behind you Gordon - go on my son!

  • What a great speech, The Labour government have done so much for this country, Im proud of what we have achieved. David Cameron may have the celebrity look but I wouldn't trust him with policies or the economy. Gordon Brown may be plain but he is a good man and has the experience to turn this all around. Better the devil you know than the one you don't.

  • Wow, the Conservative Party are paying people to click the thumbs down on the left.

  • Gordon Brown is a good leader, people just blame him for everything wrong in their lives, he would make a better Prime minister than Cameron

  • Remember what it was like when thatcher was in power?

    Vote Labour

  • They will do it, I know it, a great party, go Labour

  • I will be watching the election with interest.....I hope that those of you who have the opportunity to vote will do so.......

  • Yes what has been achieved since 1997!

The Labour party has given this country back its pride of place, a place of respect in the world. Gordon Brown is the only man to lead us into the next election AND WIN!!!

a Tory government in the parliament is unthinkable. Theirs is a government for the few this was only to evident during the Thatcher years. Who wants a return to those times.

    Vote Labour

  • ...For example its like saying 'yeah you got 90% wright out of the 100 but im still going to fail you you because of the 10%.Harsh.We should start to give our governement credit for the things it gets write instead of wrong. Has any one heard of the saying . 'look on the bright side of life.

  • @evertonjf08 this is so true - people always poke holes and point out the things that go wrong!

  • Can i ask a question to the people that argue and moan about Mr Brown. What exactly has the prime minister done wrong? i mean everbody cant do everything write for instance i dont know why other partys and people keep complaining about labour. Yes like i said everybody gets things wrong and as soon as something goes wrong its all over the news and everything but can i ask why is it when they get something write its never over the news.

  • mr brown has my vote in the general election, cameron continues to talk about huge spending cuts. hes the exact opposite of robin hood-take from the poor and give to the rich. we must all remember that labour saved the NHS from ruin and introduced the minimum wage-2 things we should all be thankful for. if cam the sham was in charge hed bring the public sector to its knees and think nothing of making public services excinct-one of the many things labour has kept alive.

  • The labour government has achieved so much, im proud of what they have achieved!

    VOTE LABOUR

  • (£ billions) 2009-102010-11

    Benefits and Pensions195.5202.6

    Health 99.9104

    Education 66.4 69.2

Above shows the top 3 public spending figures. Pension, Health and Education. Mr Brown has clearly shown that he wants to increase all of this. But exactly how will this decrese the defecit???

  • Cameron's bunch of insipid morons will send this country into a decline that we may never recover from. They are faced with a worldwide recession and all they can come up with are a round of brutal cuts that will most likely cause a depression. The Tories lack vision and political imagination.

  • 5 more years 5 more years!!!

  • I feel he could have put a bit more emotion into it. Nonetheless, it was a good speech. I felt inspired, but Gordon more OOMPH!!!! But i still heart u!

  • YES! YES! YES!

The Tories would KILL Britain! Labour is the heart of Britain. The heart of the country. The heart of the people.

  • Too right! VOTE LABOUR

  • nice speech gordo.

  • Totally agree. I wish the labour party all the best and am proud to live in a country in which they govern.

  • I think Gordon Brown nows his stuff and i wish the labour party good luck

  • This video has been up for 2 days with 4,226 views so far and not a single comment posted. Very strange. Who is censoring this? I posted a comment yesterday, it was critical but not rude. To not post this is an unjustifiable denial of free speech. I challenge you to post this comment. It is not offensive, you have no reason not to and this is a test.

  • @robb9uk and they have passed the test!

  • a true hero

  • 'No-one reads newspapers any more' say many commentators; no- all the Tory supporters spend their (idle) time here on the web, infesting sites like this with their twisted views, trying to influence others this way instead. The workers still buy newpapers, hopefully not influenced by the likes of Murdoch and his phone-hacking employees.

  • Good to see the whole thing rather than the edited and twisted version that the news people are putting out. Out of the three leaders Gordon Brown is THE BEST! Solid and dependable. A man for a crisis. Unlike the others who are

media whores who'd sell themselves and the country to the highest and morally lowest bidders.

When it comes to the next general election please remind the country of the devastation and discontent of the Tory years. People need reminding.

    Terrific speech

  • Good speech Gordo. We can and will fight back !

  • Good man!

  • Powerful

  • Prime Minister Gordon Brown is a man who is absolutely going to lead our country out of the global recession. He is a great man, and has my every respect.

  • vote labour party for uk

  • Bravo Gordon - You tell it like it is. If the country has any sense it will have listened, and now realises that there is no other party worth voting for than the Labour Party. Pay attention to what Labour has done, and will do in the future. The Labour Party represents the heart of this country, let's keep it beating.

  • A rousing speech, lets get out there and put Labour into government for a fourth term!

  • This is the speech that will bring back the next General Election

  • Good Speech my man

  • GO GO GORDON!

  • Great Speech! Mr brown is the best man for PM!
