A lotta very cool clips of this classic "swamp-blues". Look at him go at the ending in Pittsburgh, 12.31.76. He lost something like 50 lbs since the summer of '76. It's unbelievable how fast his health declined, and his weight balooned. Much due to a completely congested and impacted colon. Sadly, he looked worse than ever already the first show in Feb. 1977. But in Oct.-Dec. '76 he seemed to have found a lot of the inspiration he had lost somewhere along the line. Long live The King;)
I just love "Polk Salad". It was a song that Elvis seemed to do well no matter what, the ending of it always being wild as heck. If other songs didn´t get him going in 75-76, this one for sure did. Great!

i love this fast-paced jazzier version of Polk Salad Annie compared to the boring slow-paced version he performed in 70.

@moparterry this version, in my opinion, was more upbeat.

The Gypsy suit sure made Elvis look fat. "Does this suit make me look fat?" "No, it's your fat that makes you look fat."

Agreed, but still looks a whole better at 40 years of age than most pretenders
