It sounds closer to a Carolina 3 finger style than a Classic banjo. I'll have to learn that. if it also goes by "Bucking Mule", I might have that tune in my book on American Banjo I bought from Mel Bay.
This is great, thanks for posting it. I'm always trying to figure out Uncle Dave's picking, particularly the way he uses this type of fast roll to start a phrase, as in "I Ain't Got Long to Stay."
tom hanway's irish 5 string banjo book has a similar technique, i'll have to try this out.
