Except for the obligatory hejab (which covers much less than the burqa en niqabs in SA and Afgh.) and some minor laws about inheritance, women are basically free to do anything they want. They can drive, use bikes, hold office, vote, etc.
Still, it's a shitty system, but anyways, just to let you know, it's not nearly as bad as SA or Afghanistan. Compared to those 2 Iran is the second USA lol.

Hee...that's pretty much the way it was when I visited Saudi. The worst were the Religious Police. When some women drove cars as a form of protest, there was such an outcry! It was funny because they drove even worse than average driver there--who does not follow any sort of traffic rules. Less funny was the men who called for them to be punished, except for one old imam who said everybody was taking things too seriously.

We don't 'control' our women. They do as they like. It is, however, NOT in a woman's benefit or interest to act or be like a prostitute. BUT IT IS her choice to do so. Most women have dreams and hopes about their futures. Perhaps being a doctor or lawyer or just being married. AND none of this has nothing to do with sex. They only want to be treated 'like men' --fairly and equally.

Hee...that's pretty much the way it was when I visited Saudi. The worst were the Religious Police. When some women drove cars as a form of protest, there was such an outcry! It was funny because they drove even worse than average driver there--who does not follow any sort of traffic rules. Less funny was the men who called for them to be punished, except for one old imam who said everybody was taking things too seriously.
