I remember Chef Curdle....Once he had a bowl of Rice Krispies added the milk and said:" I hear the snap, I hear the crackle but where's the pop?" Dropped an M-80 into the big mixing bowl and BOOB! There's the pop!...LOL...
I missed this from Detroit. They used to sell M-80's and any other fireworks year round. Now in Cali they only seel during the week of July 4th and the lame weak ones.
he pre-dates beavis and butthead. late saturday nights we would have the ghoul on. and the midnight special later. in detroit we had big time wrestling with the original sheik. mr softie and good humor ice cream trucks. 1970s! no video games, cable, or internet! this is what we had.
Mothers of America, We kids used to do this to the toys you bought us All the Time. Now just settle down.. and if you cancel another show like this again expect to find one of those M-80s in your gas tank.. >:(
Back in the 70's after he blew up his first model, kids would build a model and mail it into the tv station begging The Ghoul to blow it up on tv. Soon the station was deluged with models of all kinds.
Does anybody remember the Brooke Shields Dolls of the 1980s? I used to fantasize about the Ghoul having one of those Dolls modeling jeans, sitting on an M-80, naturally!
