I'm 15 and in the process of being diagnosed right now. My father has the disease and has since he was 17. I'm scared about the colonoscopy but I know they need to do it in order to help me become healthy again. It really is an emotional process.
I have chronze disease the doc said I had one of the worst cases he had ever seen in his life I was told about it in 1982,,,,in 1990 my chronze got so bad I had to have my rectum removed my large instine removed and part of my small instine removed I now have a illistomy,,my chronze started in the esophgus, and moved down twards my instine,,plus I have a prolapsed hurnia ,,they cant take out much more theres not much left, plus Im A Dibetic too.which makes it more complicated
I was diagnosed w/crohns when I was 11. I'm 44yr old now. In between theses yrs I have had 7 surgeries for this disease. 3 for bowl resections(they took bout 1 foot each time)and the remainding for scare tissue from the past operations. Was on 'many' different types of meds for this. Currently I take Humira, ever other week I give myself a shot of this.It helps but still have problems. Lastly-I have done my best to live a good life-and I have. peace out...
@rocko7usa Might I suggest Cat's Claw to help manage Crohn's Disease? I have used this herb and it has been more of a miracle to me than Humira. It is extremely effective in getting rid of flare ups, and has gotten me off all medication. I can hardly imagine now the difficulties I went through with Crohn's because my life has become so much easier with Cat's Claw.
i am a nursing student and just studied about Crohn's disease. this disease is very hard to deal with and very hard to control too. Hope the researchers find treatment to cure the disease soon. you guys are so brave. God bless you all!
I just smoke marijuana, it keeps my crohn's in remission. No more cramps no more diarrhea I can eat whatever I want. What a great medacation. If you don't believe it then try it. I don't take no other medication for crohn's, and now I can live a more normal life.
@seabeeification When used properly marijuana is a good medicine. It was orignally used in the medical field. Marijauna is known to treat many other medical condtions!
quicker. I know someone who went on a fast and only ate pawpaw and cured himself of crohns disease yes you will glow yellow but its a small price to pay for a possible cure
Video is really informative. Im a patient having this disease for 4 years now. I had to undergo small intestine surgery twice in a row. It seems we need to take the symptoms of diarrhoea, abdominal pain and vomiting seriously to counter the spread of the disease. rest is in God's hand.
i have crohn's dissease and im getting treat ment and i am very happy that i was treated and had a good oprations i was very happy and all my family where happy that it was crohn;s dissease they thot is was something realy realy bad they thot i was gona die but i prayed and prayed till god helped me and treated me good and i hope everyone who has crohn's dissease hope they be good and get treated good!
This is now quite a bit out of date - research shows that an SCD diet (no starch) will help treat this condition (and for some put it in remission).
