The author should have taken more care in displaying photos, and making sure he has indicated their origins.

The music is fine, but photo slide show relevance is questionable.

Love Jhelum. I can still remember eating in KFC, can remember most of these places. I can still remember the Tulip hotel and everything. Rohtas Qila was a pretty neat place to visit.

A question for all the Pakistan-born Pakistani's. How can shopkeepers tell when a British born Pakistani walks into the shop to buy merchandise? I don't get it! I speak fluent Urdu, people say I speak it very well, I wear Niqab in Pakistan even though I only wear Hijab in UK, so how can shopkeepers tell?

Do you bargain or just pay what they ask and walk away? If you're talking about Jhelum in particular, just remember they have a lot of experience dealing with britsh born Mirpuris, so they could just smell you guys from miles away. lol

Also, I dont think you could speak as clearly as a Pakistani born, there will always be a slight accent when you talk. It is easily identifiable just like u could spot a paki born brit. ;-)

My parents are from Jhelum not Mirpur lol, but yeah, you have a point. We usually take a family member to do some bargaining as they can just tell as soon as we walk into the store. It's quite funny really.

its u think u speak fluent urdu but , still u can be identifed as as a brit coz u have not 100% pakistani urdu accent.i hve frnds here in Uk then brought up here n speak good urdu,but still i can see difference in wording they prounance in urdu.
