  • Totally useless. Nothing I can use with this waste of a video.

  • This video is a clear example, If you can't read a dipstick than you are a dipstick.

  • Ozesalsa, ethanol puts your car in competition with your dinner plate. Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) does also...to an extent, but Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) actually comes into play AFTER the dinner plate. Burning WVO is RECYCLING. A 2 or 3 uses from 1 source situation. Cookng oil, fuel, and soap...in that order. It is ALL consumed with lettle/no waste, and uses WAY less energy than making ethanol. What could be better? Do some more research. Algae and Hemp oil look very promising.

  • the world is fucked

  • Cars now compete with humans for food. Third world nations are starving, rainforests are falling and burning in Brasil and Indonesia, wetlands are being drained and destroyed worldwide. Millions of tons of fertilizers and pesticides are used to create these so called green fuels. Look and think, befor you jump. Oil goes up, consumption goes down. That is good. Is bio really a cleaner, cheaper answer. I think not.

  • Oh shut-up. Try not to be such a stooge. Educate yourself about the food shortages/price increases before you spout some knuckle headed sound-byte spin. Start by looking up the causes of the crop failures in major farm areas. Then look into governmental rice hoarding. If you can still blame biofuels for droughts and natural disasters they we will talk again...

  • algae is the answer!!!!!!

  • Look into algae grown biodiesel. Algae have a very high fat content that can be converted into diesel hydrocarbon chains. Algae grows very fast, gets energy from the sun, and is rather inert if it were spilled.

  • This leaves me a little confused as my diesel car (1994 vauxhall cavalier) i ran that on a 50/50 to 70/30 range of veg oil for a total of about 4 year with no modiforcation or problems (except when i used sunflower oil by mistake!)is this kit so i can use 100 vegge? if so i dont think i would go for that due to residue problems in the cold, but thats me.

  • ** That being 50% to 70% veg oil and the rest diesel **

  • Thats why the system heats the oil.

  • haha...let's make farmers become oil-sheikhs!!

  • I know of one restaurant that pays someone to take their used oil. Even if you were to remove oil from plants to use as fuel, the remaining plant matter can be used as feed for livestock or for making fuel pellets for pellet stoves. UNH is working on extracting oil from algae, which can be grown at wastewater treatment plants where it will remove excess nitrates from the waste water.

  • Thangz a lot for uploading

  • The purpose of converting your diesel to run on vegetable oil is to use WASTE VEGGIE OIL from restaurants. No one has ever suggested running the entire world's vehicles by growing crops for oil. You take the used oil from the restaurants, filter it, and use it for fuel. For free.

  • you really don't understand how the world works, do you?

  • Do enlighten us.

  • So how do you get the restuarants to give it to you? (this is a serious question by the way) Just ask?

  • You just ask them. Some will some won't.

  • don't forget to filter it though, 50 micron filter my dad used but smaller just means slower to straine

  • Rdangelo is right. Converting food crops into biofuel for cars will result in sharp spikes in food prices, soil depletion, fresh water depletion, and eventual desertification. If mankind wishes to avoid a worldwide die-off we need to stop driving, stop eating meat, and stop having babies. And maybe try a little harder not to war all the time, might help too.

  • No, we just need to stop breeding like rats. Two children max for every woman who wants them, no exceptions and the population will fall (as not every woman will have two children) This is the ONLY thing that will save the world. Everything else is just papering over the cracks. It all comes down to population control

  • i agree! man, you should print this and post it on every front page of every news paper in the u.s.a., but the only thing is that as good as this sounds there are many people who'd agree. thanks.

  • The fuel mileage is almost the same veg oil and biodiesel have slightly less energy density than petroleum. CO2 emissions are essentially neutral unlike petroleum that adds CO2 that has been trapped in the crude underground for millions of years

  • I think every little bit helps as far as cutting our need for foreign oil and helping to break our petroleum habit. You better check your states laws for doing this and fill out all the forms needed! The government is so greedy they fined a guy in NC $2,500 for doing this! It's not about saving the environment or cutting need for foreign oil it is about licenses, a 2,500 bond posting, and making sure you pay your ROAD TAXES!!!!!

  • Ridiculous. We could't ever grow enough crops and still feed the livestock and eat ourselves. Try again. Maybe slush hydrogen or something. Solar? Wind? Never grease.

  • so whats the mpg for something like this

  • Renewable energy source...okay...

BUT: what about the CO2 emissions? More/less?

  • Yay, burn that vegoil!

  • We dont' see enough gas conversions. I don't owen a desle wish this would work oh well

  • Nice commercial and the website is pretty nice to. I think I'd like to try this product.

  • This is great, very informative and concise. I would give this video a 5 star rating.
