  • There's a learning curve to using the DOA shrimp, but once you figure it out, I haven't found anything that comes close. I've won the last five tournaments I've fished--over a hundred people in each--and thrown nothing but a 3-inch shrimp. However, a heavier plug or shadtail that creates its own wobble is certainly easier to learn to fish. I guess that's why there are thousands of lures on the market.

  • I've purchased many DOA lures used them often. in the Indian river lagoon and the interacoastal

waterway the ocean from the beach from the Jetty. docks and boats.

NOT ONCE have I EVER even had a bite with a DOA lure. that said I know people who swear by these things. I also know there are people like myself who haven't caught anything either.

I DO have a lot of luck with Bomber "A" lures though. and sparkle rootbeer worms poppers sometimes and top dog as well. I won't buy them any more. sorry

  • 1/16 or 1/8 ounce jigheads, or weighted 3/0 Owner weedless hooks on the shadtails, or DOA 1/4 ounce 3-ince shrimp.

  • do you use a jig head on them or what do you use?

  • cool

  • what colors r best from these lures to catch redfish.

  • I'm using 5-pound braid. Mark uses 15.

  • are you using braided line?
