  • so which one should i get

  • great video, i found all those tips helpful! with the link in the description theres an air purifier however it doesn't tell you the air exchange per hour, i was looking into buying one but without that information i feel warry of it. thanks cheers

  • As an engineer I find it interesting that air purifiers list square feet as their main filtering specification. They really should list CFM (ft^3/minute) at each power setting. I mean who's to say if you're in a 400ft^2 room with vaulted ceilings or you have 7.5' ceilings?

P.S. - If the cost to make these units ever got out.... i swear customers would burn down these buildings. You pay the engineering costs once. These units really need to stop being sold for 3x-15x the production costs.

  • I CANT READ THE LINK BECAUSE U PUT URCOMMENTS IN THE WAY...

  • what if i use both a uv hvac purifier and a portable 170sq ft purifier in the main living room. is this beneficial or is this useless for pet dander, and asthma problems?

  • is the machine ur sellin made in japan??

  • This is really good information about the problems with most companies - they don't educate people to what they need

  • it's very good

  • Great info

  • what about whole house central purification systems? recommendations?

  • Here's the problem with whole-house units- the air ducts are designed to deliver cold and hot air, not to circulate air around a room so unfortunately they don't do a great job at cleaning. The amount of flow needed to move all the air, and move it around corners, etc. usually means that you need one in each room (sorry!! It's a great idea).

  • One more thing however... a UV or ozone type purifier in the duct (and of course a HEPA at the furnace/ac) is a good way to keep mold and dust from accumulating in an air duct...But I wouldn't count on that making the room alot cleaner/or at least as clean as I like.

  • Is there a decent purifier you would recommend for around 200 bucks?

  • Thanks for this upload mark, I'm 21, fairly ignorant to air purifiers obviously, so I get all these commercials from Oreck and Sharper image about their fan-less, filter-less purifiers, and I really just can't take their word alone for the quality of their products.

  • How many square feet is this for?

  • 850 sq. ft..

  • It's hard to compare these air purifiers/cleaners. I'm looking at the Rabbit Air MinusA2 and it's almost twice the cost however looks like it's one of the best ones out there. Hard to believe that for mentioning an ad, a company would just slash $100 off too. I think not many Rabbit Air videos here possibly due to the cost of the unit too. :(

  • I had the opportunity to sell Rabbit.. but I liked this one better

  • I appreciate. I had almost decided to to buy 3 units of the one with the O at the beginning of it.

  • thanks this was just what i needed

  • You're welcome

  • As with any business, the goal is to make sales and please the public. I commend your work in this video. HOWEVER, Ecoquest is by far the best on the market. The Pentagon entrusted Ecoquest with the task of cleaning their air. We are also in the 911 Memorial Museum. Science is behind us and we have proved time and agian that we are the best.

  • Ecoquest is Ozone. Good for mold and smoke.. not good for allergens

  • What about a Bionaire BAP1700? And when ya say UV, you mean the radiation?

  • What the difference between Airpod Cleaner 9000 and Alive air ?

  • This was a good video on the problems in the air purifier world...

  • thanks for the info... helpful

  • good info... on the deceitful stuff by big companies

  • Whihc do you recommend? this is good info and I've been searching for weeks trying to get an air purifier.. but getting more confused than anything...

  • Nice try. Keep it up check out esteembpo + com for social media marketing. erfdsf

  • Shockingly good info

  • This was really helpful info,, THNX

  • My wife bought a purifier based on your recommendations and it worked great to help her allergies, mold sensitivity... Thanks

  • It removes pollen with HEPA and kills mold/mildew with UV and Tio2.. thanks for your comment

  • By far the best video about air purifiers - thanks for the help

  • Great information - I thought f buying a used Oreck on Ebay. There are lots of them - and then I relaized why.... they're not very good. I'll try one of thses...

  • hey my room is 11x11ft and im lookin for a do it all air purifier. Any suggestions?

  • Hey, My room is only like 11x11ft. Im looking for a kind of do it all air purifier. Any suggestions?

  • Find a small HEPA like the airpodcleaner (.com)"pet-pod" ...

  • What do you think of the Honeywell HHT-145 ?

  • it's very small...185 sq. ft. so a bit pricey (even at $200) and replacents are expensive.

  • thanks...last question...what do you think about the ALEN A350 ?

  • Very helpful info in a very confused world of air purifiers

  • Thanks! yes, there is alot of misinformation, and marketers take advantange of that...

  • Thanks Mark - great advice... It worked...

  • You're welcome

  • Thanks for all the helpful information, but i have a question.

I have a lot of pets, and as such, there are a lot of airborne hairs, as well as a huge amount of dust that builds up over a very short period of time.

I am looking for something that can help with removing dust, and animal hair from the air. Would the AirPod 9000 be suitable for this task?

I currently have a HEPA vacuum that i use every day, but it really only helps with dust/hair AFTER it has settled on the ground / furniture.

  • The 9000 would be good becaue the HEPA filter is big - that's the key: BIG HEPA to catch and hold the hair and dander, and make sure you have a pre-filter to catch the hair (washeable). Airpodcleaner has a PETPOD model too designed just for pets which is reasonably priced.. Thanks

  • lol you said over 25 dollars filter is overpriced. type 9000 you promote has 29 dollars filter

  • You are right - except the 9000 has a big HEPA, and the nearest competition is $129

  • Is the Airpod model # 9000 better than the RabbitAir MinusA2 (AP-1004) or BioGS (SPA-582A)?

  • Looks like it has more technology, covers a bigger area, and costs alot less

  • Looks like it has more technology, covers a bigger area, and costs alot less

  • Is the Airpod model # 9000 better than the RabbitAir MinusA2 (AP-1004) or BioGS (SPA-582A)?

  • Yes - because it has more technologies (10) and it will handle a larger room. The rabbit air is a good unit however and better than most

  • What is your opinion on the secure air purifier and UV technology altogether?

  • That's the $99 one sold in Target stores. It has no filters and covers a very small area. If you want to kill germs/bacteria UV is good, but if you want to collect dust, pollen, and hair you'd be better off spending a few more dollars for one with HEPA and UV.

  • Thank you this is the exact information I have been looking for. I'm researching to pick up one. I have so much dust in my room that accumulates that I find small puffs of dust. I just finished cleaning tons of spots that had them.

  • Thank you for the response.

What is dust? Dust in homes, offices, and other human environments is mainly generated by humans from their skin cells that slough off. The entire outer layer of skin is shed every day or two at a rate of 7 million skin flakes per minute. Tests of indoor environmental dust in homes and offices have shown it to be primarily (70-90%) composed of skin flakes. The key to collecting dust is a HEPA filter.

  • Helpful review.. Thanks

  • Very helpful.. thanks so much for the info

  • This is good info...Thank you!

  • I like having the extra stages. And at less cost too!

  • Thanks for this. I would like your opinion on those German Venta Airwashers. They seem to be pretty good. I have one, but of course I cannot measure what it really does.

  • Good for humidifying the air. While water does not clean the air as effectively as HEPA (there's a percentage of contaminants water will remove, in the 80% where HEPA is 98.7% if I remember correctly) . The only challenge is keeping the water and mositure from taking on bacteria - which UV handles. My old water vacuum (Rainbow) used to be used to clean the air as well as clean dirt. Did this help??

  • I have had many. The danged Oreck thing was a heck of crap. The ionic breezes are neat, work well, no filters. However.. they put off ozone and stuff that worries me. I know that hepa is awesome. I have a small hepa air filter in the garage I think I'm going to get it back out.

  • Thank you! I travel a lot and book for smoking rooms, problem is hotels have no windows you can open. Everything smells-cigarette as you were in a dance Club and this info is great to know. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for your response - A compact travel air purifier that I use on trips (both on the plane and in hotel rooms...)is the airpodcleaner 1500 (you can probably search google for it)
