Matt this is not some standard BMW it's a CSL a limited edition version of the M3 which is stripped out and already tuned by BM. I have seen it eat porches and Ferrari at the track in fact they are known as a great track car. BMW made a great piece of engineering with the M3 and then made it even better with the CSL sure the badge may be becoming common but this car certainly isn't especially as this particular one is boasting a supercharger too.

@IndustrialBeaver how is honda the best car in the world? yes they are reliable. but they understeer, and torque steer, have no power, and are economy boxes. that is what they were made for. to get from point a to point b as efficiantly as possible. not as quickly as possible. there are some motors i do like from honda, the f20c and the f22c. because in an ae86 they are a perfect match and great for drifting. or track driving.

overpriced, overrated, and rather cheaply made, especially the interior. Fake leather on doors panels and such. electronics are simply ridiculously sensitive, and long story short, its just to difficult to maintain while trying to save money at the same time. but if you just have to own one, you may want to sell it before it reaches 75k miles....

Turbo chargers out air driven to power the engine, which creates lag in power. Super chargers are belt driven which creates less lag. but really it depends on what you prefer, what car you drive, and how much power your looking to increase.

Supercharged is belt driven forced induction, turbocharger uses the exhaust gases to spool up and pressurize the air, there is more power out of turbo but its not untill the high end RPM's that it is actually felt, thats also known as turbo lag, with superchargers there is no lag and i don't think anyone should call u stupid cuz at one point none of us even knew what a supercharger or turbocharger looked like or even knew it existed lol

@DrNicca809 Good answer. I'd also say you can generate more power from a turbo but its less fuel efficient as well as mentioned turbo lag. Although BMW get around Turbo lag on the (e90) 335 M sport by putting on twin turbos one that spools up at the lower rev ranges IIRC, that is a highly impressive engine, it won international engine of the year in 07.

Superchargers are for higher-liter motors. Because they are pulley and belt driven, they leech off of your base horsepower. Since lower liter motors down have high BHP to begin with, that's why they are mainly turbocharged.

Noob? That's fact dude. Low-liter motors don't have the HP to utilize a supercharger to it's fullest potential. Turbos work off exhaust, so there's no leech-effect. There may be lag, but that's all fixable with fine-tuning.
