  • Hey you said osx might take over "become active" does that mean you can't boot xp/vista anymore? Some place sais to put in ur vista disk click repair... it should fix it... is this true... ? i need to know before i try this.

  • it will make your OSX partition active and in turn you won't see your vista boot loader.

however you can boot to your vista dvd disk and repair that automatically or manually via the command prompt. (basically just need to make the vista partition active again)

  • that was really nice.

did you try to let grub "take over" to see if it works?

  • i have before. usually the grub bootloader takes over and in turn you may have to re-add entries back for xp and osx. also, you cannot directly boot to osx w/grub as the bootloader; you get the darwin loader and then have to choose the OSX partition (i believe because grub marks its partition as being active)

  • awesome work dude!

  • Thanks dude
