  • i just bought all the wooden flowers from the outside of the ride... at the vintage tulsa show! thanks for putting this video up!

  • i really miss bells. its like they stole my child hood and replaced it with a parking lot. :(

  • something amazing is coming.....you all will be so surprised at what im renovating

  • I never rode this; mostly cause I was too chicken. I regret that now :/ haha

  • @mccluckinxx I never rode it either:\ I could never get pass the gigantic blue face with sharp teeth lol,and the dog coming out of the window also scared the shit outta me lmao the ride its self was scarier on the outside than on the inside lol awww I miss Bell's:(

  • i rode this when i was 6. i was cryin in it and i hid down in the car thing lol

  • That damn bus horn scared the hell out of me everytime I got on that ride.

    Stupid bus,lol.

  • Great vid, although it doesn't do the ride justice, lots of darkness on the vid.....so many great scenes in this ride and I remember it being one of the best dark rides I've ever been on along with the Spelunker's Cave at Six Flags over Texas which is also no longer.

  • Thanks for the memory. This is when they changed the ride and took out the two dips. There was one in the start of the ride after you turned the corner and the second was when you come out of the house. They took them out because stuffed animals kept getting stuck in the tracks

  • 3:16

  • i came out with tears poring out my eyes cause of the bus that honked i was little so ya...

  • w...it's your cousin mo! i just stumbled upon this video. so great!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I used to go on it all the time as a kid. I still wish Bell's was there today.

  • I remember all that gum stuck on the entrance!! LOL

  • WOW!! I used to have that bumper sticker!! I loved this ride!!!

  • I loved this ride! I have the bumper sticker on my storage trunk to prove it!!!!

  • what happened to the park?

  • @animeakatuskigurl

The city of Tulsa wouldnt renew their lease and that ended up making the decision of tearing it down. It was one of the best places to go in Tulsa. A lot of fun there. Wasn't in the best part of town but it kept the kids entertained. There have been rumors since the closing that they would move to places like Bixby, Jenks, Broken Arrow, and Claremore. But none never happened.

  • ohhhh right. thats a shame. sorry if it sounded like a stupid question, im not really that local.

  • I used to ride this, when the cart went Inside I would get out & get In the cart In front & go through that outside part & when the cart went back Inside then get back In the cart behind. There Is or was a amusement park close to Mohawk park Google Tank Vision Econo It reminds of that park, I have the R3 which most People prefer. Also Google TulsaTruth. ORG

  • Wow! Thank you for the memories! Bet you didn't know how much this vid would mean to people when you took it.

All the sights & sounds brought back so much! Too bad its all gone!

  • so glad someone got a video of this...

  • This brings me back to all kinds of memories of philandering and inebriation.

  • bell's was the shizznit !!! anyone who would remove it is a moron.but then our lives are all ruled pretty much by morons.and fun and art are just nothing to these creeps.anyway.the most sadest part is when they get rid of things kids love due to some bullcrap.kids need things to love.otherwise they turn to whatever else they can find.drugs,gangs,violence.back in the day you could be happy at bell's with a slurpee some cotton candy.these rides and some hot chicks to flirt with

  • That slurpee you speak of was damn near ten fucking dollars

  • Great place to suck face !!! ; )

  • gum doors mofo i miss that shit man i wish it was still there

  • all the gum on the entrance doors - that is priceless!

man i miss this so much, i have dreams about it.

  • i wish they never took bell's away. i loved the himalaya. and sure there is another himalaya ride, but i rode it and it's not the same

  • man I was scared as hell 2 ride this back in the day..lol the gum on the doors!

  • *sigh* i loved that ride, i remember the first time riding it with my mom when i was like 8?

but to bad bells is just in everyone's memories.

  • Wow.... This brings back memories.

  • ya..they dont have any good fright rides n e more...kinda sux

  • I love this ride also, I always rode it every year just to find out if something has changed, I also loved the log ride rode it several times a year thanks to our hot summers, the sky ride was also fun enjoyed watching everyone have fun at bells

  • me to

  • this was my favorite ride at bells simply becuase i never really like rides. but this is really cool. and that stupid bus got me every time.

  • I went on a ride similar to this, except it was a haunted pirate ship in Ocean City, went back there some months ago, saw it, and refused to get on

  • I went on this ride once when I was 10, and it scared the living crap outta me. Shame to see it go though.

  • this brings back memories with old friends from grade school. thanks for sharing!

  • its been a loooong time since i rode that ride, but I dont remember the nightmare on elm street music at all, its kinda corny that they put that in there, even though the music is scary

  • As a kid this ride scared the piss out of me. I was sad to see it all torn down though.

  • This is tame compared to driving in Broken Arrow after midnight!! More corrupt than Bixby is that says anything!!!!

  • My sister, Madeline Whitlow used to work @ Bell's back in the 70's. She used to operate the Phantasmagoira on Friday night's during the summers, the Octopus on Saturday afternoons. The ride changed my life at 5 years old. It will be missed.

  • i'm glad he got a good shot of the gum-covered doors! I always thought that was funny!

  • Randi Miller, she may be a Tulsa native, but she looks like an Orange Blossom Trail prostitute and Kathy Taylor is from OKC if she wanted to get rid of an amusement park, why not become mayor of her own hometown and bulldoze Frontier City?

  • Tulsans don't take kindly to crooked mayors and commissioners. They will be voted out for next term, and my name is not Rob Bell, or one of the thousands of Camelot Hotel supporters.

  • It'a a shame this ride was demolished, except for the inside props. As a Tulsan, I would have loved to see it on the midway at a fair in FL where I live now. After all, they have those crooks the Murphy Brothers here already. He goes out of state to earn his bribe money, and I'd like to see him thrown out of every fairground here.

  • Something was definitely unsettling about the decision to evict them. Their was a bill trying to annex the fairgrounds to be under control of the city, who wanted to keep the fairgrounds as 4 out of 5 of the councilmen had already voted, but the mayor delayed the annexation until -just- after the date Bell's had to be out of there.

  • i know this is silly, but this video totally made me cry! I miss this ride so friggin' much!

  • Just today, we took our son to the Tulsa zoo where he threw a penny in a wishing well. I listened to him making his wish, which was that the Phantasmagoria would come back. It still amazes me that he is fascinated with a ride he rode a year and a half ago...when he was only three years old. After he made his wish, I mumbled that I wished Randi Miller were standing behind him to hear that.

  • @wenwilwa Was Randi Miller the guy that ripped Bell's contract and forced them to relocate?

  • 80 degreez amd smelled like pee pee. Still fun ride though. Love the bus..

  • I remember this ride scaring the crap outta me. I didn't like it much, but it's still sad to see it and Bells leave. :(

  • Wow, thanks for the memories! I remember the enormous excitement when the ride first opened. Plus, what a cool bumper sticker it had, too!

  • Man, this is the best darkride I've ever been in. I remember way back when the track had a drop in it out front and there was a water wall feature blocking your exit, then it would shut off. RIP Bells.

  • Supposedly, the "girl" in the black thong{03:15}was nude at one time---as your car approached, the mannequin would spin around to reveal "she" was a rotted corpse!

  • I was hoping it would spin around. Long time ride operators have also told me that they used to hide out in the Phantas to spook people as they went by..and one guy used to fall out of the bus.

  • my friends and i were yelling all kinds of naughty words during a ride, and i thought the ride operators did that to make us shut up.

i wasn't scared, just worried they'd kick my 12 year old ass out for yelling "cunt-fucker!" at the top of my lungs.

  • Only thing scarier is Randi Miller and Kathy Taylor

  • man im really goin to miss the haunted house. and of course the log ride.

  • im gonna miss that place
