The idea that a reflector helps in some cases is a lost art... if your HD antena sucks try random wire extentions and aluminum foil. It works according to theory. "any randon configuration has a gain that is above no antenna at all". With Wi-fi devices the antenna length is critical and the shape of a high gain relector is also criticle so I doubt the Parabolic shape is a concern at all; its just a reflector, 2Ghz requires ~30cm parabolic to work. (the math is on physiccs web sites).

I just made one out of aluminum cans and it works pretty good, but the foil is alot easier to shape....

I wish it worked, but the reception is still the same. I will try a repeater instead. I am curious if my connection will be stable with this wifi booster. If yes, then I will add another comment. I will give it a week before trying a repeater.

One question if anyone can tell me, why put foil on outer side of curved paper instead of inner side? Would it be any difference if switched?
