  • @coopelem cuz ur a dumbass

  • why dont they use water instead of foam

  • How much is there in one hangar, is it enough to go over your head or just about how much there was in the video?

Also would this conduct electricity or not?

  • This is how KLM wash their planes

  • I like foam.

  • it makes me wanna jump into it!!!!!! lol

  • same alarm my school uses

  • You should test that system every six months and hold a huge water bath tub thingy and have fun there while testing at the same time lol

  • Isn't the foam corrosive to metal?

  • and that puts out a fire?

  • SCRUBBING BUBBLES :) !!!!

  • This is what my block looked like when a scaffold builder decides to hit a sprinkler.

  • what kind of use would this system be in place for? fuels?

  • @chillaxer1993 Yes, the foam works better with fires involving flammable liquids because it doesn't spread the liquid out as water does, otherwise anything that's not covered by the water would still burn and you might actually make it worse by throwing water on it.

Also I don't know if this foam will conduct electricity but water will and create a potential shock hazard for a fire fighter or a by stander

  • SEXY PARTY

  • I always like this test, if planes were in there and a REAL fire was happening, in a matter of minutes that foam is high and the fire has no where to go. ^___^

  • Aperture Science Fire Suppression Gel

  • thats pretty cool

  • Did you get any on yourself?

  • It's like the club!

  • i wonder how it makes the foam?

  • Guy sounds like a robot from MST3K when he says "We do the hard work, so you wont have too"

  • reznor unit heater at 0:49

  • You say the temp dropped? About how much do you think?

  • Oh and the underground storage tanks and the pump?

  • Could you make a vid of you draining it?

  • SCREW EVACUATING! I'd Stay Inside and WALLOW in that.

  • who has to clean this up?

  • Thank God for Novec 1230

  • Thats what I call a test.

  • So why would you set the system off on purpose? Dont you have to recharge the whole system then? And what does all the foam come stored in?

  • this is incase of a fire right

  • @drphilstruck yes it is!

  • @drphilstruck Nope, its in case of a rave.

  • @drphilstruck No, it's incase a rave party breaks out, lol.

  • foamparty

  • mmmm smells like stale water that sat in those holding tanks for years

  • foam party! ok we need beer,dj girls an some rand shit i dont know of lol

  • WHOW impresive foam, but how you manage to remove it ? it must do a lot of damage not ? in fact, what is the difference between this fire foam and the foam of nightclubs ? thanks

  • accident?

  • fucking epic O_O

  • ow shit

  • WOW what a mess! And i bet that was an expensive discharge.

  • no it doesnt it works by smothering fires not by removing oxygen

  • want an artificial snow? use foam!!!

  • @ 1:05, "Scrubby bubbles!"

@ 1:08, "We work hard so you don't have to!"

  • How is it cleaned up? Does it just dry itself up after a while or do you have to go in there and do a major job? H

  • It's drained to collection tanks underground

  • @jsselec how the foam is routed to the underground collection tank? there is a floor drain?

  • @paul9511 yes there are floor drains. I believe they can spray water on it to speed up the process, but my company was only responsible for making the system discharge, not to clean it up!

  • @jsselec lol, attaboy, you're responsible for having fun and that's all they can hold you accountable for :)

  • @jsselec "Honey, I cooked this dinner, you clean it up!"

  • HEF ( high expansion foam ) is great stuff... Excellent for fires, this system will douse a fire in the hangar within a minute. Besides, who wouldn't ( after the fire was over, of course ) want to enjoy a nice playing in the foam. Don't forget the rubber ducky!

  • i.... WISH I COULD PLAY IN IT!!!!

  • Got to save those planes if they're in there... But i agree, just running through it all would be cool.

  • cue the rave music. lol

  • hahaha GIANT BATHTUB!!!! LOL

  • I guess they'd need FFFP for jet fuel? or could they use AFFF? Either way, that's freaking awesome.

  • damn haha

  • It's so tempting...you just want to run out there and play in it!

  • Time to get some girls... Bubble bath anyone?

  • It would stink if you were sitting under one of the foam streams when it went off!!

  • how u clean up lmfao

  • why is there water then foam and why do i hear a bell then a code 3 siren?

  • the lines are charged with water. it takes water to make foam.

  • The bell is an evac. alert. The code 3 is a standard fire alarm.

  • thats not a siren, its a horn/strobe

  • What you are hearing I'm sure is a EST/Edwards Genesis horn strobe.

  • or possibly a system sensor classic horn/strobe

  • Oh. OK!

  • yup!

  • ......................................

  • [O]

    [T]

  • whatever.......... :-)

  • Damn!
