@chillaxer1993 Yes, the foam works better with fires involving flammable liquids because it doesn't spread the liquid out as water does, otherwise anything that's not covered by the water would still burn and you might actually make it worse by throwing water on it.
Also I don't know if this foam will conduct electricity but water will and create a potential shock hazard for a fire fighter or a by stander
I always like this test, if planes were in there and a REAL fire was happening, in a matter of minutes that foam is high and the fire has no where to go. ^___^
WHOW impresive foam, but how you manage to remove it ? it must do a lot of damage not ? in fact, what is the difference between this fire foam and the foam of nightclubs ? thanks
@paul9511 yes there are floor drains. I believe they can spray water on it to speed up the process, but my company was only responsible for making the system discharge, not to clean it up!
HEF ( high expansion foam ) is great stuff... Excellent for fires, this system will douse a fire in the hangar within a minute. Besides, who wouldn't ( after the fire was over, of course ) want to enjoy a nice playing in the foam. Don't forget the rubber ducky!
@coopelem cuz ur a dumbass

why dont they use water instead of foam
coopelem 3 weeks ago
How much is there in one hangar, is it enough to go over your head or just about how much there was in the video?
Also would this conduct electricity or not?

why is there water then foam and why do i hear a bell then a code 3 siren?
th3sp0rk 3 years ago
the lines are charged with water. it takes water to make foam.
maksdad520 3 years ago 2
The bell is an evac. alert. The code 3 is a standard fire alarm.
impepper 2 years ago
thats not a siren, its a horn/strobe
alarm776 2 years ago
What you are hearing I'm sure is a EST/Edwards Genesis horn strobe.
