  • Canada had the sense to stay out of iraq. ITs a shame they didn't have the sense to stay out of afghanistan. THis is really going to give canada a bad image. It just goes to show never follow in the footsteps of sombody else without first checking out the situation thouroughly

  • Bravo Zulu !

  • God bless Canada , without you coming to our aid in ww2 without even being asked and fighting like lions far greater than your numbers we would have fallen . every Englishman owes you a debt that we will never be able to repay , thank you one and all .

  • lol its our prime minister at 3:36 stephen harper what a beast

  • 3 like war

  • Welcome back to the official names of the the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). These titles have not been used since 1968 when the then Liberal government merged the Canadian Army, RCAF and RCN into one unified organization called the Canadian Forces striping the branches of their pre-1968 traditions and identities. The Cdn Army was called "Land Force Command", RCN called "Maritime Command" and the RCAF called "Air Command" from 1968 to Aug 16th 2011

  • @canadianmatt3 Go back to the pre harper era names.

  • @canadianmatt3 i only joind the forces(Navy) about a year ago, my grandfather was a korean war vet and served under the old names. he was devistated when the liberals merged the forces and they went back to the old names while ive been in I could not be more proud to be part of the Royal Canadian Navy now and he could not be prouder for me or the rest of the guys for finally going back to out roots!!!!

  • Hey at 1:10 there's a picture of a soldier holding a flag can anyone send me it or tell me how I can save it I'd like to use at as my wallpaper on my computer

  • @toronto647 I've looked, but i will continue when i get off of work.

  • @Killercore20 Thanks man I have looked as well

  • United States Army + Canadian Army = greatest fighting force on the planet

  • We do what we are told, and we do what we must, and we do our due duty to Queen, God, and Country. We do it without the fanfare of the Americans, we camouflage our flag, we do it politely, we do it brutally, we get it done.

Grandfather: RCAF WWII, POW x 2; Great-Grandfather: RC WWI ground forces, trenches.

*kisses on each RCF member's forehead from this Canadian mother of three boys* Come home safely.

  • you got some really good pics there best iv seen

  • Thanks for the video Pte ...........QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT

  • God bless the men and women in Afghanistan and Iraq

  • I'm an American, but I know a good army when I see it, especially the troops. God bless from the USA!

  • i am glad to see vids like this up here i really don't think that canada's army gets the respect they deserve now if you think other wise just think: both US and CANADA are fighting a war, now we don't have to fight, we r losesing men and women out there every week. now i don't want there death to go unnoticed or respected they dieded so other would not have to! Now yes canada's army my not bet the biggest or the badst but a few men or women here or their could make alot of change. 3dislike foff

  • Atleast we belive in are troops and the troops belive in them selfs

  • were not Small

  • i think we should stop using american weapons and start using either our own or stuff like the aug

  • @alabarloplop we are mostly and they aren't really american weapons

  • @TheNightHawkFilms well their makers came from america but when u look at stuff like the aug or other weapons for small armys (no offence but r army is small) they are great

  • @alabarloplop what does it matter what weapons we use so long as we know how to use them

  • @alabarloplop these were made in canada by colt canada

  • Matt you have an amazing ability to capture the essence of the Canadian Soldier.

Thank you so much for making these videos. I have suggested several in the schools I work at for students to view to understand what our soldiers (such as my son) go through during their tours of duty. Thank you for helping me spread the message.

  • I am proud to to say I am Canadian because of these brave men who give everything every day to make sure we can go to bed at night and wake up in the morning safe....That is why I am most pleased to say I look Forward to the part I will take when i sign up

  • Awesome video. When my brother gets back, I'm gonna show this to him, and I'm gonna bet he's going to be proud to be a Canadian soldier.

  • Very nice video. Very well done. It nearly brought me to tears.

While I may not support the reasons we entered the war, god bless our troops and what the do.

  • My deepest thanks and respect to all Canadians and Commonwealth Forces currently fighting in the Middle East. You didn't have to fight this war alongside us Americans, but you're standing tall right beside us, keeping us going. God bless you all, and may all of Canada's military sons and daughters return home with the honor they so greatly deserve. For those guardians who have fallen, let no nation ever forget their names, for they are the great heroes of our time.

  • christ that was insperational, rotp as soon as i graduate

  • The four main allies, America, Great Britain, Canada and Australia need to stick together to help and defend the rest of the world.

  • A Happy New Year from Winnipeg to all our great troops. You are doing a wonderful job and we are all proud of you.

  • I salute the men and women serving in Afghanistan. You guys make me proud to be Canadian!

  • Corporal Steve Martin, 24, from 3e Battalion jump company, Royal 22e Rgiment, serving with the 1er Battalion, Royal 22e Rgiment Battle Group, based at CFB Valcartier, Quebec, was killed December 18th, 2010, two days before his 25th birthday after an improvised explosive device detonated while on operations in the Panjwa’i district of Kandahar Province, at approximately 12:30 p.m. local time. 154 Canadian soldiers have fallen in Afghanistan.

  • @canadianmatt3 R.I.P, thank you for your service!

  • @canadianmatt3 May everyone of my Canadian brothers and sisters rest in peace. Let no one forget their sacrifice. I'm grateful for all they've done, I'll never forget.

  • @canadianmatt3 well said ... canada always had the us's back .. and it will always ... just like a big brother protect its little brother .. the opposite is true... i hate the fact that we have wars but those guys who decided to give their life need to be remembered

  • Fabulous! Please keep these kinds of videos coming.

  • i am canadian solider but not in the infantry and i watched this video and i am also cried cuz it inspires me to fight for freedom from terrorists and to help keep the peace in this messed up world and everyone who hates the military should shut their mouths this men and women have bravery and courage to stand infront of the bullets while everyone else in canada complains that its pointless to be over there serve four years then u can u say wat u want untill then shut up and do ur own thing

  • yeah proud to be canadian. Im envious, our troops rule.

  • Thanks for the comments and liking the video. Feel free to subscribe to my channel for more videos and future videos to come. Cheers Matt

  • @lennyd77 You should probably hang yourself bro. Saying something as stupid as that is only belittling to yourself, and nobody wants to hear your close minded view points.

  • Thanks for this.

  • whats with the cage around the tank at 0:16? is that to detonate incoming explosives before it hits the haul?

  • best trained military!

  • Beuatiful video. May the red Maple leaf stand free, proud, and strong.

  • Great Good Job.

  • GO U.S, CANADA, AND ENGLAND!!!

  • WHY are the US,Canada,Brits,Aussies, STILL in Iraq and Afghanistan? They went in after Sadaam Hussein, the got his ass,he got what was coming to him.Now get out. We are still there. QUIT trying to westernize those savages, they have been killing each other for CENTURIES,those who wish to live by the sword, should be allowed to die by it. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, no matter what country they are from. UP the PPCLI, RCR, AND R22R.

  • @bgpipes actually the US has pulled out of combat operations from Iraq but the conflict there has no bearings on NATO's efforts in A-Stan. We're still there because the Taliban is still there. Canada and NATO has invested a lot in improving the lives of those whose lived without running water, education, or safety from religious prosecution. If the ANA can not defend themselves before NATO pulls out, the Taliban can walk right back in and undo everything we've worked and died for.

  • go canada!!!!!

  • Great tribute mate! Highest respect to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Allies. Brothers in Arms.

  • the only way to win is with Pashto scouts. you have no choice. you dont know all the hiding places and water holes. money and orders mean nothing to Pashto. you must form a personal reltionship. and youre adopted brothers will climb mountains to hunt down every Talib they can find!

  • Honestly I cant talk shit about canada, to me there is so little diffrent from america.

  • GO Canadians, you guys are bad ass. Thanks for the help fighting the shit head sorry taliban / al qaeda fucks. Everybody thinks canada isnt doing shit but they dont realize your there, here in America. -U.S. Army grunt 2001-2009.

  • 0:59=EPIC!

  • Great Video!

  • As a former Canadian solder, who served his country but never saw combat, my heart goes out to each and every one of you. You are the best of the best and I wish each of you a safe return to Canada. We will remember!

  • @smelyalata - Yeah...Canadian, British, NZ, American...all deployed in the same shit; so they get my respect regardless.

  • @ToiletBomberAlpha I hear ya brother. Respect and honor!!!

  • As an American, 2:07 made my heart smile. Thank you Canada for your efforts in Afghanistan.

  • sick vid

  • obviously not, it sucks

  • Robert Fowler Canada’s longest serving ambassador to the UN, who was kidnapped by Al Qaeda for 5 mths. Said it is wrong "to effectively colonise Afghanistan and replace their culture with ours, for that is what we seek. It is time to leave."

  • @Escensionify look all i asked was how did canada get in afghanistan and you start saying all this stuff on how america is ruining the world. And canadians being the most feared (im just saying) it was probably because of great britain.

  • @mutarrr The Canadian Forces entered Afghanistan in 2001/2002 because of the direct attacks on a NATO member on 9/11/2001. Canadian Special Operations soldiers from Joint Task Fore 2 joined other nations special operations members for the first initial attack on the Taliban regime. In February 2002 Canada's 3rd Battalion PPCLI were amalgamated with the United States Army 101 Air Borne Division which was engaged in Operation Anaconda. The UK was apart of the NATO invasion,Canada part of the US

  • @canadianmatt3 woot woot atta boy thanks man for stickin up for this great country im with you...go canada and CF

  • I may not get my chance to go to Afghanistan, and work on the CH-147 Chinooks as an AVN(I've been trying for 2 years now), but my heart is with my brothers in arms and their families.

  • @Escensionify u guys r pulling out because canada is not strong enough to fight terrorism. And all that stuff about the us being violent that's propaganda all armys are like that

  • @mutarrr What? Where the hell did you hear that? Canada has cut it's deadline back three times already, so I don't know where you got the idea that we couldn't handle it. And the part about Canadian troops being feared, that was in a German Officers diary during WWII. So no, it wasn't because of the British.

  • Hoping to join when I get back home. Scared to tell my fam and friends, not sure how they'll take it. Great vids!

  • canadas there because us is friends with them

and us is right next to canada so if they attack us or not theyll help defeat them see ?

  • Hats off to my Canadian Bros.and Sisses!!

  • @canadianmatt3 i really like your vid discription i have full respect for my countrys soldiers past present and future. all i know is after i graduate from high school to enlist and be a light mg operater like my grandfather before me. he served in ww2 he is greatest man i ever knew

  • I don't mean disrespect but why is canada in afghanistan?

  • @mutarrr

  • @Mboyk90 you can join the reserve at age 16 with parental consent and you can join the regular army at age 17 with parental consent. the legal age to enter the reserve is 17. hope that helped!

  • @papajack222 depens what country ur in i live in australia and the age here is 16 and nine months. i took the apptitude test for when i applied i past everything except maths failed by 1 point.

  • Love you guys, thank you for your service

I wanna join the army and fight in afghanistan but by the time I hit the right age to join the war will have ended.

  • @ipodprinter man don't let one conflict prevent you from going into the army, i wanted to goto Afghanistan after my basic this summer but were pulling out to soon for me to get a tasking so i' am just hoping for the Congo next year(if we go) there will never be a shortage of conflicts join as soon as you can it is something no one would regret doing

  • ima b enlisting in 8 months :D im excited, i dont respect anyone quite as much as i respect our troops

  • i pray for my older brother, David who is over in Afghanistan and has been there since February. Dave, if you're reading this, me, mum, grandad as sis want you to come home just fine.

  • @wordy81 and god bless them all

  • peace belongs to the man with a bigger stick...

  • almost crying begouse my dad is in afgan );

  • song is the best!! and good vid 5*

  • So how is building schools and roads fighting for capital gain again?

  • I was only suggesting to move into a private message debate to not annoy other viewers but since that does not seem probable here is my anser. You are as free as you want to be. What i mean is if you don't like living in a large city with institutions and such, by all means move to the country. But if you are realy complaining about how your life is in the western world then you need a reality check. You can talk politics all you want by the end anser will be...

    stop bitching.

  • I say, thats a shame. However it seems a small price to pay for what we have acomplished over seas. And to the question why do half of Canadians vote against war, I believe that many Canadians (even including my self a bit) take our liberty and freedoms for granted and they don't draw the conection between fighitng for your country and the citizens living a peaceful life.

We may disagree on this subject but if you want to continue on, lets do it in private messages.

  • @ANTIRACIST2012 Yeah because that makes sense. Spend trillions of dollars on the war to save a few bucks on oil? I think not.

  • Which throughout history has been done and will not stop now.

  • @LIONOFTHEBRAVE

I don't see what the problem is, patriotic people join the military and fight for freedom while unpatriotic anti war types get to live in the FREE country of which is defended so don't bitch too hard about living in a free world.

MILITARISM HAS to exist for peace because other wise you would be enslaved or killed for your beliefs and i personally wouldn't like to see any of those happen to you or me.

  • Congratulations on your grad... I think...

  • this video is amazing. the canadian trooops deserve it. what is the song?

  • give respect to our Canadian troops, and american, britich, french, german, austrailian and nato comrades who are fighting in the middle east.

  • Well spoken.

  • the canadian forces are pro

  • canadian forces need more armor like the americans have with groin protection, huge shoulder pads, neck pad and thigh pads then id feel better about joining (i am joining tho)

  • just to let you know all that "protection" slows you down and wont stop a bullet, only shrapnal. Alot of canadians take the shoulder shit off cause its annoying.

  • bro im with ya im also joining, meet you out there

  • @shockitySHOCK will do bro see ya in two years

  • wat is the song saying? suits the vid great. Thank you to all who fight for something greater than themselves. Whether u are in the service of a higher power, your country, your family, or your own morality, i will always be greatful.

  • canadianmatt3, are you in Ortona Troop?

  • yes

  • Ah... It's a small world...

  • go canada and to all our troops in afghanistan i support you to the fullest

what's the music in the vid?

  • Actually Whoracle, every War brings with it improvements in how to treat Traumatic Injuries - not just the ones inflicted in Combat situattions, but also for Motor Vehicle Accidents, earthquakes, etc.

Nobody wants War (except for the Militaty-Industrial Suppliers); but when it becomes necessary, I'm cerainly glad that we "bellied up" to the front.

  • and those improvements could be achieved without the need of a war .... dont tell me we need wars to figure out that i dont know.... a new tipe of materials could be used to build lighter and stronger cars... if we reserch we can figure that out without a war:|

and this war... its useles , im not blameing the americans or any other country that is fighting terrorism , im blameing terrorism to and the country that use it cause a terror war is also useles :|

  • Those who fight for us die for us, those who work against us live to see us fall. we will never fall

  • Thank you "boys"....please come home!!

    Love, a MUM
