  • yo bro I can see your stuff is not up to par but I started out the same way all you have to do is buy one piece at a time and sooner than later you will be telling others the same also, keep on playing bro.here's a video of mine.

  • er ok? as long as you think its good thats the main thing

  • Nice! 5/5 and check my audio system ;)

  • im confused as to what you have here, as far as im aware that JVC mini system will only be outputting 2 channel stereo, So what you have the centre, surrounds and sub connected to i have no idea, as @canderton01 says the jvc stuff is fairly cheap, you will notice a massive difference in sound quality when you get a proper receiver. Center speaker should be moved down as close to the screen as possible as well. Not meaning to sound rude dude but can be improved :)

  • nice set up, but how's your center speaker getting signal i don,t see a wire going to it ?

  • @asifineededaname fair point dude lol never noticed that myself

  • Please check out my setup

hey not bad lets just say its a start for you i was in ur foot steps with the niger riged suround sound its kool hey i think what ever gets you by is what works for you check out mine if your get a change and hell im only 14

  • thats alright u should here mine in my house it rattles my whole damn house

  • You mean a big sub LOOL CHek my video ;o I got 5000 Watts and Masive cumputer

  • sorry your home theater setup is crap try to get Sony Bravia XBR4 and speakers.

  • sony is not bad i think its the best brand in the world ps:jvc rocks too

  • i agree.. sony suks... there overated. Enless u get the older setups then there not so bad... but for the money there a rip off... i went and bought a basic philips sound system, says its 1000 watt max... idk if thats tru . but its only 160-200$. my sister bought a sony setup and payed like 260 $ and mines 3 times louder and there rated the same

  • erm, your REALLY need to get a proper av receiver. WIth that JVC thing, you're just getting 2ch stereo sound and that blu ray player supports 7.1ch HD audio. It's not true surround sound. You also really need to invest in some good main/front speakers. Those JVC speakers are pretty cheap and low quality.

Not hating, just tryin to offer some suggestions.

  • thanks for the suggestions, i got a job so maybe ill get some nice stuff

  • that's good, assuming you've upgraded your tv like u said, if you had some decent speakers and receiver, you'd have a pretty kickass setup.

  • sony is shit,, when and once you have bowers and Wilkins speakers like me, then you can actually start saying stuff, untill then shut the fuck up, sony is just crap, get a yamaha blu-ray hooked up to a yamaha 8.1 DTS HD reciever with 8 bowers and Wilkins speaker and one 1 sub, then thats when you can start saying stuff ;)

  • not really sonys decent quility i got an 5.1 sony digital ciema surround system and it sounds pritty good.

  • Post a video to prove you have B&W's then you have the right to say stuff, until then take your own advice and stfu.

  • Sucks

  • Weeksusaf is right... It is lame. I can actually say that my system will beat yours... Get some decent floorstanders. I hopefully will be getting some Mordaunt and Shorts or Bowers depending if I can get cash.

Btw, if you were clever, you wouldn't get JVC and you wouldn't get a Blu Ray player. PS3 is one of the cheapest/best on the market unless your are looking for ultra quality in which you would get a denon...but obviously, I can see your 1000" Ultra HD tv...

  • i have a better tv now, and sony is the best stand alone blu ray player you can buy, do your research!

  • Your mad if you think Sony are the best stand alone players... Denon give a lot better picture quality, smoothness, and are generally better. Check the Av Forums mate.

  • Denon is the best, your just saying sony is the best because its probably the only blu-ray player youve ever owned.

  • no its not

  • does that stereo really power all those speakers or did you put more than 1 speaker into a input

  • i bet he did, anyone can connect 6 speakers to a normal 2 channel stereo amp, but wants the point unless it decodes into DTS or Dolby Digital

  • my bro has same tv for there son to watch hes really got a 65" but its inbetween the stereo and speaker and other speaker just like that

  • Good job you made it happen and utilized what you have! thanks for sharing dude! :)

  • dude im younger than you and i have a better tv

  • sweet setup, i see ur a UNC tar heel fan...my boy goes there,a senior, he is the starting safety for the football team

  • cool

  • lame

  • how is this lame, lets see yours, oh wait you dont have a vid showing yours so shut up

  • That's awesome how your stereo can play music from your computer. That's cool.

  • thanks for the comment. i subed to you yesterday.

  • Thanks.

  • That Gorilla laying sideways in your shelf cracked me up.

Oh man, now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head!!!! Cool man, great setup! A new flat panel HDTV will be great!

  • ya the gorilla is from north carolins college. it sings as well. thanks for the comment. i did not touch on movies so much but movies sound excellent threw those speakers as well.
