  • love this performance of the golden age! shame it doesn't have the lovely pedal steel swell the recording has

  • Seriously... nobody's gonna talk about the drummer slowing everyone?????

  • @bonham06 I know, right? XD

  • @bonham06 he was definately pre occupied

  • Wayne>Beck

  • Flaming Lips and Beck together : the best of the last 20 years in music

  • 04:55

  • Beck is to Wayne as Chuck Norris is to Vin Diesel. Everyone knows Chuck is 1000 x more bad ass than Vin. It is the same here.

  • wayne needs to be quite

  • Beck > Wayne.

  • that was a bit unique :)

  • I saw this tour @ the Hard Rock in Vegas. Beck played while the Lips were re-setting up behind a thin black curtain. When they were all Beck started in with this song and when the Lips came in on drums they were silhouettes bathed in a purple light against that thin black curtain. After the song was done they pulled back the curtains.

It's sad that Beck and Wayne's personality clashing caused a riff because that was honestly the best concert I have ever been too, until the Lips tour with Ween;)

  • It's always hilarious to see videos of Beck and the Lips because Beck is so chill and cool a guy, while Wayne is so hyper and scatterbrained.

There could be a sitcom if we play our cards right, sort of like Will and Grace, only people will watch this one and it won't suck.

All the soundtrack by the Beck and Lips and anyone they deem worthy.

  • I wish there was a video of Lord only Knows only

  • This video is like sex.

  • @airsoft3 In what way?

  • damn that version of lord only knows was awesome

  • Beck and The Flaming Lips...

I mean can it honestly get any better than that?

  • @Zeokoz you gotta try pretty hard.

  • I liked the KCRW version of The Golden Age. It was somewhat better than this version. Drozd's and Beck's harmonies were especially better.

  • Wayne's trying to get everybody moving. Lol

  • me too, sissyneck great, my favorite beck's song

  • It's easy to see why people love Beck, he's unique and adds a certain life to his songs that others don't. He blends styles and works to leave people wondering what he'll do next.

And his lyrics are definitely some of the most creative that I've heard in a long time....

especially Sissyneck, that song is gold.

  • Wayne playing with his teeth didn't impress Beck in the least bit.

  • Comment removed

  • Beck's almost as quirky, but he's not doing it for show, which is probably why Wayne was doing it.

  • simply glorious

  • beck is my favorite artist of all time

  • The Golden Age is absolutely beautiful here

  • Nunca ouvi nada parecido

  • Pedal steel guitar o_o? Wow.

  • yeah,i love it too. his voice sounds more clear this way.

but the "AHHHHHHHHH" at the beginnig is also not missable.

  • Wow. This was a nice little treat. Love the songs and this is a nice, loose, jam. Thanks for sharing.
