I DEDICATE THIS TO MY UNCLE TIMER(JOE) AND MY LATE FRIEND STAN CAT. Takes me back to my hometown, Unit 5 Chatsworth., Durban, South Africa . Friday nites under the trees and near the fire playing those Bellini acoustic guitars and playing our rocks offf. Yes I Believe
I only rediscovered this 3 years ago - not knowing it was Hot Chocolate! It really is of the time, and a great feel good record of when I was 12 years old! I'm now 51 - where have 39 years gone. Beautiful Song far superior to Sexy Thing or It started with a Kiss in my opinion
Did you know that it was John Lennon who gave this divine group the name Hot Chocolate? What I don't know is what their previous name was. Can someone tell me?
If anyone else has any early Hot Chocolate videos please post them! This was taken in the days they were a six piece band and Errol shared lead vocals and song writing credits with Tony Wilson. He is the guy with the acoustic guitar. There was part of a great group of singles released by them between 1970 and 1975.
i was 10 when this came out....one of my earliest memories of pop music.....seems like a long time ago mow.....but remember it well and what was doing at the time,,,,,,cheers
Whatever happened Ian King (on drums). He seems to feature a lot in this video. He was replaced by Tony Connor in 1973.

The B-side was Caveman Billy. I'd love to hear it again.

@pugnut32 absolutely, I used to play caveman billy over and over again on my £10 woolworths portable record player - great memories!
