devil?it means sign of infection, herbs to ward of infections, cremation, and dying from the plague down dosent mean in the underworld it means to die from plague
@TheLilslo thank you for the reply. All of the research I've seen on this says otherwise. Have you found any well-researched evidence to back this claim up? You might want to try the snopes article on this. That's a good place to start the search.
@ShoenenJumpLuffy No the it's about the plague. when it say's ashes ashes we all fall down (dead). They thought this song would ward of the black death. (I am a scientist kindove.)(microboilegest. I'm not really I want to be one when I grow up.)
lol the funny thing is ALL nursery rhymes have a dark sinister meening, take humpty dumpty, it was set on the fact an annoying king was shot with a cannon! and well exploded and the guards (doctors) tried to heel his screaming dying body, and ofcorse little bo peep was set on a prostitute who lost all her friends and relatives then found them all dead dure in the plague after searching through pits full of corspses
ring around the rosie-people around roses in a cemetary... Ashes Ashes-They had to burn the dead people so it didnt spread... we all fall down- WE'RE ALL DEAD MAN
@Thiefylord There's an interesting Snopes article on that. The idea of Ring Around the Rosies being a coded reference to the Black Plague appears to be a myth, though it has been accepted thought for most of us for some time.

This song has nothing to do with the black plague. That's just an urban myth that got started in the '50s

This song is about the Mad-cow disease.

We're burning the corpses
We all drop dead.
