  • Shelly10538 dude I honestly feel the same way!!!!

  • I love these guys, ever since I seen them live in 2003 I I just can't get enough. It was crazy, The Vogue theater in Indianapolis turned into some kinda "happening" or something. Everybody was getting to know everybody and it seemed like the audience was really part of the show. They really try to deliver something special for their fans and it's the closest thing to magic I've ever seen.

  • They really outta do this now that theyve done Dark Side...They are more like The Who to me than anyone....only TRIPPIER!!!! YES!!! MUSIC FOR 2025!!!!

  • Michael Ivins has John Entwistle's bass sound down to a T.

  • @JCM1325 Which one of the two T's in "Entwistle" ? :)

  • @Ezhuks haha....that's a good one. No, he does for real. Michael Ivins is kind of like a modern day John Entwistle. I really like what he does on the bass.

  • @JCM1325 While we're on the subject of Michael, any idea why he sits during live performances ? It really got me wondering.

  • @Ezhuks You know, I wondered that as well. If I were to guess, I would say that maybe he had a past back injury or a knee surgery, and standing up for too long gives him pain. Now that's just a shot in the dark. I don't know if he's ever had any injuries or not. But that seems like a logical reason why he may sit down during some parts of the set.

  • @JCM1325 i was wondering the same thing, i saw them live just a few months ago and before the show he was up walking around taking pictures and signing autographs and stuff and then once onstage he just took a seat, and hes sitting in every live performance i see on youtube, i always figured there was a reason, the back/knee pain possibility seems the most logical but idk

  • @Squibfire I'm pretty sure he's not injured. In fact, he posts his running times on twitter and he's really fit.. and fast! I have however heard Wayne say they thought PiL looked cool in the early 80s on MTV and they took the seated bass look from them.

  • @psychexfutureheart oh ok thanks, i really was curious and i had never read that but yeah that makes a lot more sense

  • Why there is a guy crying? sitting in front of the drums? Did the other band members make him feels bad?

  • @smithtracing i think hes doing effects or something. what i dont get is how hes in some shots and then disserpears when the angle changes, they must of done two versions and edited together or something.anyway bloody brilliant!

  • Kliph is AMAZING.

  • I love Steven's guitar sound here. Does anyone know what amps he is using gear etc? At 2:28 there appears to be a small keyboard that is used. Anyone guess what that is?

  • @myway43 I think it's Michael who is using the smaller keyboard.

  • Welllllll, I loved their version of The Dark Side Of The Moon...it just may be time for them to do Tommy next.

  • @chinacat They did Tommy on one of their tours 25 years ago!

  • i like how its smoky as shit in that room

  • trust the flaming lips to rehearse in a room made of lego

  • the drumer kicks ass!!

  • Watch in the very first opening second Wayne walking into a room and right back out with plenty of smoke trailing. Now he walks in for a mere second but so much smoke follows. I wonder whats going on around here?

  • ??? as in for them to record or for us to listen to???

  • this is so good i can smell it

  • did he say charlie kangaroo?

  • its like a time machine taking them back to the olden days where the would rehearse in a little room wishing to play in a bigger room m uch like i do today with my band haha

  • Awesome, Wayne sounds kind of like Daniel Johnston. Never noticed that before.

  • True that. Good spotting.

  • Love the Lips ever and always. This is yet another example of their collective talents. Steve Drodz RULES. (I am a bit distracted by what looks like someone sitting crosslegged doubled over by the drum kit?!? Just wondering what s/he might be doing....anyone?

  • that is odd. i never even noticed the person the first time i watched it. just some random fetal position guy in the frame sometimes & not at others, lol. whoever it is i envy them much!
