This is astonishing, those outside of America know more what is really happening in our economy and national fiscal situation than most people here. I have friends and coworkers who are really bright and yet few of them share my belief about our economic future, even when confronted with undeniable facts. So it is not that most of us are dumb but that they simply cannot bring themselves to accept the facts and/or will not believe the truth. We can all guess why.

Thanks! I wasn't attractive enough to be considered worthy of having kids though. I was too awkward and geeky back in my 20's and 30's. I seemed to be invisible to women. That's ok though. Now I'm in my serious earning years but i have no family to take care of. The money is really piling up in the checking account too. Many of the women who once ignored me would be happy if they had another chance to hook up with me, but my libido has really decreased. Now I'm happier single.

Thanks my friend, but it's too late for me. I still look fairly young & in good shape but I feel totally different than I felt even 5 or 6 years ago. The fire that drives a man to take a wife and start a family has burned down to coals. There's just not enough heat left to drive me to go through all that.

I'm in the years where I'd be very good at raising a family but the urge to start one is gone. A woman would have to be very persuasive to get me to agree to it.

Food & water is important, but the last dark ages lasted for hundreds of years. What is happening now is the beginning of the start of a new world & its not a good one. Last time I had an ominous feeling of dread was Aug. 2008. Turned out the system did not collapse and I was wrong but then I found out how close we were to collapse when word got out about the run on money market funds shortly thereafter, and it was widely acknowledged that we narrowly missed the abyss.

I realize now my feelings about how reality should unfold are one thing, and my gut intuition is right. What I cannot perceive is the government intervention that invariably takes place.
