I was in the middle of that sea of people in Donegal Town and all I can remember was the excitement and the smell-there were a load of burger stalls and chip vans on the Diamond that night and lots of Guinness drank so if anyone had lit a match we all would have gone up in a methane flash-the thrill of Sam in Donegal for the first time and the hum of people's bodily functions-quite a concoction !
