This will be my first trip since my children were little back in 1972! Now I am planning a trip with my family and my two grandchildren. The Tree top villas look really nice so I have booked a week in August from my friends time share. I want to be close to the pool and possibly a riverview. Do you have any suggestions on the number of the villa I should request? Also how difficult is it to get a taxi to do some shopping?
last thing I MUST do before I leave the disney world resort.....CRY! These videos of the tree house villas bring back so many memories, I stayed here last summer. I will be back in June 2012, I can't wait!!!! I should point out that there are tiny hidden mickeys spread out in the carpet in the livingroom!
I noticed that there were publix bags in the kitchen. My family is considering staying here for our vacation because of the kitchen so that we can save some money on food by cooking. But I am nervous about how we are actually going to get groceries there. Where was the closest grocery store and how far away was it? We are planning on flying there, would we have to call a cab?
@1313Maddy Hi there, there are some limited items in the resort store. Nearest Publix is at the Crossroads Plaza about 2-3 miles away. You would need to call a cab for that, or there are some grocery delivery svcs.
Hi Rick,Your video has given us all the info we needed to finalise our booking for this resort,we hope we will not be disappointed.
thanks again and keep up the great work.
My own last thing to do at disney has to be a final visit to the best place ever,Magic Kingdom park, just to take in the atmosphere and a final bite to eat at Pecos Bill Tall tale inn.
Hey Rick, my name is Gus and I really liked this video, great work showing the villa. For me was extra special because I worked at disney back in 2006 and actually lived in the Treehouse Villas, I can say it looks a lot better now. It was kind of messy with a lot of growing vegetation. We had 2 floors back them, one being on the ground floor and the other above it. On the ground floor we had a laundry and another room. Anyway, great video and work.
