To echo the previous two comments... I agree all around. Last time I saw REM play live was the Monster Tour in 95, and before that was in 89 for the Green Tour. Both great tours, but it seems like they play with a certain aggressiveness and spirit.... and even showmanship that might have been lacking previously in 95. Man.. I want to see them again.

From he look and sound of a lot of the recent concert videos, R.E.M. is playing with renewed focus and energy. A great new album. A better stand in drummer. Back to harmonies and the mid 80's sound. Love it!
