@thinktothemax he's faking the whole thing. If you're really running, you're body isn't completely straight, like his in pretty much every shot. Runners tend to lean forward, using their weight and gravity to increase speed, which also makes you pretty much automatically run on the balls of your feet, instead of the heels.
He's just a really bad actor or the directing was just awful. Someone could've caught this when the camera's were still rolling. Especially the benches-scenes are awful.

The whole thing actually did make me thing he was supposed to be in some kind of a hurry, the actor just didn't get that across... I mean, casual jogging in a sweater and jeans?
