okay i love my wii and all games for it, but saying that this is better than halo? c'mon... halo has vehicles, 16 players online with splitscreen and replays. The conduit isn't better, it's a start, but the second might be ;) (where they plan on splitscreen and vehicles)

i dunno : / the environments look absolutely bland...look at the base of the columns... theyre basically blocks with decorative stickers....really makes me shrud.. uugh...the animations are not that convincing for me either...this might turn into one of the bigest dissapointemnts on wii this year...but then again i might be wrong...im just not setting my hopes too high..

The graphics are very good for a wii game, the gameplay looks hella fun,multiplayer up to 16 players,wiispeak enabled and also one of the things that makes me wanna get my hands on this game are the controlls, And everyone who says this looks like a 2004 game, holy shit, that's definitely so un-true...

these are just old builds of the game, if you youtube comicon and conduit, it shows a newer build that is a month old, so many people got their ass kicked when they were playing.

Anyway, Wii owners are hyped about because of the effort, especially the online, visuals, controls (the main point of the Wii), and other features,

I could say FPS on other consoles have been gaming like in 2000 just with better graphics.

wiimote offers something unique and fun not available on other consoles, and motion plus would just make it even better.

no the xbox version of riddick and doom 3 do not look better than this. you should check out the newer vids at comicon. Doom 3 and Riddick for Xbox had much blurrier textures and those were dark games that exaggerated the lighting and shading. so no the Conduit looks better than those games.

umm no, if you look at the new vids, it hardly has any. the are ALL normal and bump mapped. the lighting system in Doom and Riddick was good because it was a dark game. you will hardly see any of the post processing effects in the Conduit in ANY 2004 game on a console, and it doesn't have to be all dark to do this.

The character models look as good as some 360 games, but the textures and stuff let it down. Plus the fact it's not in HD will effect it a lot if you're playing it on an HD tv. However, it's still an awesome looking game, and it looks like it'll be a lot of fun.

Kinda true, but i did notice in one of the videos, that in the control room the symbol of the trust or w/e it was looked really blurry. Also the control room to me seems to be lacking detail on the walls and floor, but maybe they are still working on that.

Well put together vid fella. Looking forwars to seeing how good the MP on this game is-playing mp shooters on Wii SHOULD be fabulous but so far they've not hit the mark(MoHH2 is ok but lagy as hell and fugly and WaW while fun is too gimped at 4vs4). I've never experienced lag on MoHH2. At least, not that I can remember. But even then, I really don't think it's ever happened to me. Might be your internet connection.

maybe it wasn't lag, but just that the game wasn't put together all that well (when i played, it took forever to finally kill someone). However, the controls in that game were amazing (love the pumping shotgun). But, i'm still really hoping for a metroid hunters for wii, the ds pulled it off perfectly, (stats and voice chat!). and metroid prime 3 hinted it at the end of a 100% completion.

No it's been lag on MoH-I have to lag aim to get kills most games(my connection is 20meg so shouldn't be that). WaW would be better, with the perks and all, but gimping down to 4a side damaged it badly.

8Vs8 is that sweet size though so hopefully The Conduit will have it all covered. Doesn't need innovative modes as there's nothing even basic on Wii yet.

Well the character limit stops me going into one here. What I mean is that as long as it does the "classic" modes well with good voice chat and M+ implemented and geat controls it'll still be way ahead of what we now have.

Sure some cool modes using the ASE to find mines or Grey Tech to collect and get safely nome would be really cool too-I just think I'd rather keep the numbers up on the first installment than risk them with cool new game types first time out the gate.
