This game is in my opinion, BEST OF ALL TIME. It has what is 99.9% not in games any more, emotion. It pulls you in, makes you part of the game. No other game has made me feel emotional like the MGS series.

I kind of laugh hearing this now. I always thought the song was epic, I know it sounds nice but that fact is that it's a ripoff of Georgy Sviridov's "The Snowstorm - Troika". That's why it wasn't used in MGS4. I do recall hearing a story about the plagiarism of the theme. I heard excuses about this being a homage to that song but really, the term is arguable and this is really a ripoff of The Snowstorm.

I've played Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted, Resident Evil, Call of Duty, God of War, etc. All those games were amazing. But if u wanna talk about the best game series and story of all-time. That's Metal Gear. I don't know, there's no other game out there that makes me feel so emotional about a game then Metal Gear. The story just sucks you in. It's not about the gameplay, graphics, etc. It's the story that makes it amazing and incredible. I'm glad I own all the games as my collection.

@asskickingness06 Because of the complications of the storyline, I think if Hollywood did make a film, starting with the story of Big Boss might not go so well. They'd probably make one based on Solid Snake, take a few liberties with the story, then release maybe a sequel or two if they make any money, then release the prequel with MGS3. It shouldn't be too difficult, seeing as all the Snakes aren't silent protagonists.
