b101aa2 - are you an idiot? This IS a Lancair. Cessna bought out the Columbia line of aircraft. This is the old Lancair Columbia 400.

While flying a new C-210 a gear warning lite came to life While cycling the gear to clear the warning the left main got stuck and wouldn't move. An emergency landing, years of waiting and a final decision that the left main tire was overinflated and wouldn't clear the associated equipment. My question then was, how the fuck did it get retracted in the first place? Cessna has yet to answer the question. The 210 was 2 months old and is now scrap after killing 3 years later.

@wavefool It's possible that the tire inflated further due to being at higher alt. It's also possible that the people who came up with the "final decision" are full of it.
