This movie is amazing, but the scene when shes fixing the head looks so differant compaired to the emediate clip after so that was the only point in the film I thought they slacked off. The rest has some amazing non-CGI effects. This film and few others shows CGI isnt always needed to look great.

I always thought that if they would cut STRAIGHT from her playing with the fake head, to them looking, and then cut on the BANG on the table and "ash", it would totally sell the scene. As it is, you have that bad little bit where it cuts on the same thing and the fakeness of it makes you cringe. Apparently, the mold didn't dry properly or it 'shrank' and they didn't have time to fix it.

Thank you very much for the comment. If I had an English version I would have uploaded that one since it doesn't look like there is one on Youtube atm. Ash's approach on seeing the Alien is one of the most interesting thoughts in Sci-Fi history.
