  • I love the old Pantera !

  • Darrell's guitar tone was right back then. He soundy muddy later.

  • Vocals sound a lot like Joe Elliot from Def Leppard.

  • Kind of reminds me of Def Leppard :)

  • this is good heavy (or hair, whichever you prefer) metal like RATT, Cinderalla, Skid Row etc IMHO

  • Not bad at all...but still hilarious.

  • Pantera were glam for about as long as the were thrash. The only reason Pantera didn't go glam is because they didn't sign a major label contract as a glam band. If they would have, they'd be mentioned in the same breathe as Ratt and Cinderella. I'm watching this shit on VH1 classic about every band in metal "selling out". The thing is, people like what they like. It's all rock and roll. Why all these categories?

  • @nirtera sorry didnt see your comment before i posted mine

  • glamtera fucking owns hiphoptera

  • This is metal magic!

  • pantera need to man up an own up to this magical stuff. This is not hair metal, this is good fucking heavy metal.

  • Es Glam es lo mejor (KISS , MOTLEY CRUE ,PANTERA ,SKID ROW ) ECT

  • yeah

  • What guitar did Diamond Darrell use during the solo at 2:39?

  • @PSXDooMERR Looks like a Charvel maybe? That's my guess.

  • @PSXDooMERR it's a charvel model 1

  • @twoodard351 nope - wrong headstock, dime is using guitar with more fender-like one

  • I never got to see PANTERA in concert but I was one the 25,000 who bought the copy of I am the Night when it first come out. Heavy Metal Rules!!

  • this was the best shit pantera ever put out

  • can dime copy eddie van halens moves from their videos any more in this?lol

  • This doesnt look glam to me, people are so narrow-minded and what they dont understand is this is the way most metal bands dressed back then, better than bands now who have no adventure or fun at all, this seems like bands had such a good time and were so energetic. They look closer to bands like judas priest than poison here.

  • @joshmattg

This comment is great. I wish more people knew the difference between Glam ROCK and Hair METAL. People need to know that if something sounds different, it's probably different! :P

  • @joshmattg I agree....Although I do find what they got on a little glam, Bands today are so damn drab and boring...its all camoflauge shorts and go-ts or beards down to their damn knee caps and 90% of um look like meth addicts...anyways I totally agree

  • is that phil leadsingin? or someone else?

  • @neuregel it's Terry Glaze! ;)

  • Was this at Savvy's or The Ritz? Does anyone know?

  • this is PaterA!

  • Is the music video Wikipedi was talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • OOH YEAH!..you could NEVER mistake this for glam at all...NAWWW lmao..the leopard skin spandex and frilly gold moonwalker boots were TOTALLY metal man lol..slayer,bathory,venom,and all the other early METAL bands wore em all the time..remember??..oh and dont forget the lipstick girls..smooch smooch.

  • 've never seen Dime playing non-ml guitar)

  • Love the Z28 at the beginning, that car brings back memories!

  • That singer sounds like Joe Elliot (Def Leppard).

  • awesome

  • Pantera should have kept this glam genre instead, so much music.. it brings happiness to me by listening to it!

  • yeahhh great song great band!!

  • FUCK YEAH!!!

  • Pantera kicks ass regardless if they were glam metal, Thrash metal, or progressive metal, it don't matter to me.

  • love the eddie van halen run toward the camera at 3:26 lol

  • @thewlwl ...and don't forget the stage moves from the Randy Rhoads & George Lynch playbook...!

  • @thewlwl idk if u noticed this but on the cover of cowboys from hell dime is doing the van halen slide on the floor

  • any dip shit can tell that this is no glam metal may they look glam the music wasnt full of sum easy pop riff n barley there bass n drums that can be done by sum 8year old starter...this is straight up good time OL HEAVY FUCKIN METAL...p.s sick guitar solo like always from the diamond darrell

  • @hell6before6heaven6 the term glam is based on the look basically but ratt was in terms a glam band and this is just as heavy as there debut ep

  • U guys should know that, as much as vinnie, diamond and Terry are amazing in this song, it's rex's groovy baseline that makes this song a killer

  • @sbpark95 I am a bass guy. But you're giving Rex too much credit this time my friend...

  • best Pantera era. FACT.

  • Steel Panther should cover this \\n/

  • Camaro is kick ass!

  • Anyone want to hear Terry sing Walk?

  • I'm sorry, not to be a dick or anything, but this so called "glamtera" era sound of Pantera really does not sound any much different from Judas Priest.

    I really honestly think so.

Please tell me what u think, and if you think they are different styles, could you explain what the difference is?

    Thanks.

  • @sbpark95 Yeah it's like a mix of Judas Priest and Van Halen.

  • Don't know why people give Glam a hard time, I'd rather hear Glam than the awful garbage music these days, atleast Glam required talent to ACTUALLY PLAY AN INSTRUMENT.

  • @mrguitaraholic er yeah, sure it takes 15 years of practice to play a Motley Crue or Poison song...lol. Pantera had the glam look, but their music was hard rock. Cut out the ridiculous vocals and you'll hear some actually solid hard rock.

  • @malewhoreslag Who said it takes 15 years? it still requires some talent more talent than todays pop music, todays music requires 0 talent, you just get auto tuned and just have to look good.

  • @mrguitaraholic but why even compare pop and rock? listen mate, if you're sick of listening to Lady Bieber on the radio, just turn off the fucking thing, end of story. we don't need to see that "dont let the spirit of rock die" nonsense posted all over YT either. if the other kids make fun of you in high school for liking rock or whatever, just fucking ignore them, we don't need any more ayatollahs to tell people what to listen to, it's a free world, or so it should be, period.

  • @malewhoreslag ok compare too young to fall in love to fight fire with fire by metallica. pretty damn sure i could play fight fire with fire with my cock. i hate people who think glam is just crue and poison. thats like saying thrash is metallica. you wanna hear some fucking solid rock? wildside's under the influence album, xyz, firehouse, danger danger, mcqueen street. anything besides cherry pie by warrant. the BEST guitarists played glam. you wont ever be good as andy timmons nuno or MAB

  • Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

  • The first four albums from Pantera slays everything they did after that, period.

  • Comment removed

  • Holy hell if they would have kept terry glaze and his girly vince neil vocals than the entire history of the band wouldve been different, no one would.ve ever heard of them and they would've forver been playing clubs and bars and pool halls

  • Holy Hell... hes NOT playin an ML or Culprit... thats amazing...

  • lol dimebag's hair looks like a poodle. but still awesome

  • Wow that's kinda cool. At first I thought that this was gonna be total shit, but I was proven wrong. Still PanterA with Phil will always be the true PanterA :)

  • Its amazeing what happens when you get a new lead singer who takes the band in the heavier direction. Glaze was ok for the time, but when Phil came in and Power Metal came out, well the rest is Metal History.

  • lol @ 'Devilman' in the Camaro!

  • wow wtf still fucken awesome though

  • I like pantera better from 90-00 but this is still awesome, a real pantera fan would love everything they did1

  • even in glam...they showed how great as musos they are and were(r.i.p Dime). endless guitar talent.!!! id still listen to this anytime!!! keep your leppard and poison and bon jovi!!! give me glamtera

  • just goes to show you that Pantera kicks ass in glam, heavy metal, and groove metal

  • Back when Bon Jovi just began to SUCK!

  • :( IT`S PANTERA?

  • fucking pantera sex gods!!!!!!!!!!!!! greatest fucking band ever

  • Anybody who says glam-era Pantera sucks should listen to this song >:-)

  • @calipilot227 Dimebag was such a champ he would make Mexican banda sound good. Whoever says old Pantera wasn't hardcore, is stupid. They just had big hair like everybody else back then.

  • @calipilot227 hell yea dude freakin bad ass kinda sound some what like defleppard but they sound better than defleppard

  • @calipilot227 seriously!!

  • Love glam PanterA

  • no one can ever come close to making good music such as this guitar work, dime was given a gift, there are songs that i feel are meant to be out there like music is a life force of it's own, kind of like it selects people to live it or play it. like how natural selection chooses which species will survive in nature. most of us will never hear the music in our heads, we are tuned out for the most part, I wish I could be hearing it.

  • I need to find this so I can put it on my iPod

  • @TallonIV776V just type ''Youtube to mp3'' in google...

  • Totally sounds like Def Leppard's million dollar sound....this is AMAZING!!!

  • 2:36 lol emo drums XD

  • Is that the ML From Hell before it was modified, sold, repainted, re-found, repainted again? The one Dime one in a solo contest? WOW!

  • @sidmalicious yeah thats the one! and he had to BEG to get it back....until eventually the dude who owned it just gave it back to him! What an amazing story that is! \m/

  • Oh man, Webofhair uploading classic Pantera videos was the reason I started going to Youtube.

  • Heh... this sounds way better than a lot of the mainstream "hair metal" bands of this era. Ratt, Def leppard, Poison... they wish they sounded this great. Sure, it might not have the catchy hooks that some of the more commercially successful bands had in their music... but I guess that's what sold records back then.

  • @HiFi5i Actually Pantera's All Over Tonight sounds like Def Leppard. Def Leppard are GODS

  • Pantera was made up of four unreal musicians. Dime got most of the credit but Rex is definitely one of the best bassits out there and Vinnie is one of the most entertaining drummers to watch. Both Terry and Phil had some great vocal talent

  • Love that red Z28 at the beginning. I always was partial to that bodystyle and year of Camaro.

  • ROFL @ dimes poodle hair

  • @ 3:26-3:29 that little staggering run/walk thing Dime did has EVH written all over it, Dime was the best(my opinion) guitarist to live, Rhoads pulls a very tight 2nd. I used to think the other way around but as I see more of this "hidden" stuff I think alittle differently now.

    GETCHA PULL !!!!

  • damn the guitar solo to this song is badass:)

  • Maaaan the 80s was fucking awesome, i wish i was born earlierrr!!

  • lol its hard to believe that pantera was once glam but this is awesome!!

  • That riff, that voice, that solo..... so insaaaaaane!!!

  • i love that fuckin solo thanx 4 upload it

  • is that a boxing glove of the head of the third guitar?

  • Comment removed

  • @MultiPunio agreed, not only was he a great guitarist i think its how he delivered his performance that makes him a guitar god

  • Damn, this is fucking amazing! And this is another reason why I don't judge bands on their image...who gives a fuck how musicians dress....i don't care if certain bands are considered to be 'glam; ' as long as their music's good, then that's fine with me!

  • Terry Glaze reminds me so much of Joe Elliot

  • I bet if Pantera kept playing glam metal like this people wouldnt be liking them as much as they do and we all know we don't like glam metal but all you guys worship and would suck on their balls lol anyways rip Dimebag

  • hahahahahaha

  • why do retards try to sing like robert plant? never understood it.

  • こんなお面被って運転すると捕まりまっせ~。

  • @SeeYouEnTea666 , I'm sorry for you, I don't mean anything strange about the band. I'm a Pantera fan but I never know that this is their premiere appearance and music. I'm so glad how they change to even much heavier but anyway those genres are still fine for me. I'm still admiring the band. This band is so versatile.

  • Van Halen sounds, movements and clothing with a little bit Alcatrazz, Ladies and Gentlemen VAN HALENTERA

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! this is soooo 80's fuckin epic! \m/

  • TO ALL MUSICIANS: I think about creating a guitar pro tab for this song, cause I didn't find an accurate one. I already tried to learn it by ear and to write the. tab

If someone would like to help me, please send me a message.

If anyone has found a correct tab, please send me the link.

    Thanks and rock on!

  • Dimebags solo is great, On the whole the song is OK pretty much like typical Hair Metal(not a fan of the genre) but I gotta admit the singer is hitting some really high notes, he was really good, can anyone tell me who' s the singer?

  • @pcdd11pj I think it's Terry Glaze AKA Terrence Lee, but i'm not sure. Look on wikipedia, it's certainly written.

  • dimebags hair......

  • @drifttank lol!

  • I love glam,but i hate EMO.Glam cool music.

  • DIME was the best, even over RHOADS, VAN HALEN, JOHN 5, WYLDE, LEE, & who ever you can think of ! He was a true talent & pressed the limits of music on his Axe & was our hero & that's why we miss his so much, & nothing can bring him back, but we can honor him in many ways right here. People say this shit was glam, but probably wern't around then, & that's the way people dressed & it helped attract hot women to shows & that's the name of the game! Say what you want, but their still "The BEST" !

  • Jwatson626 you can lick my balls pantera no matter what kicks ass

  • This is 1000 times better than the crappy albums with Phil.

  • que temazo por dios!!! dedicado para todos los putos que piensan que pantera empeso con "vaqueros del infierno"

  • @MultiPunio bien dicho

  • its fucking amazing how dimebag was able to start out writing glam riffs to some fucking heavy shit. amazing guitarist. will definatly will be missed

  • Sounds Like Phils Balls havnt dropped yet lol

  • @ListenToTheSystem that would be terry glaze. before phil came into the band

  • @ListenToTheSystem He wasn't in the band yet. Not until '87.

  • glam'tera is cool cause of dimebags guitar riff's...rip

  • yeahh yeahh yeahhhh the great song yeah pantera

  • lol, gay

  • @Guglio88 lol, agreed

  • GlamterA

  • WOpps... I think I love panteras music more than pussy.. =O And I love pussy =)

  • This just rips......Classic ripping 80's love it...

  • as far as glam metal goes its ok, but i'm very very glad they changed their sound

  • @ranmore30 and looks :D

  • @ranmore30 2:23 solos are better than any other solo he does from CFH and further

  • dude, can i find this cd anywhere?

  • @Brittneyx897 only vinyl, cassette, and bootleg cd's

  • Pantera began sucking balls after 1989.

  • @thrashened how can you say tht they got better

  • @bulletfmvrocks101 80's were old-school dude... 90's were not

  • @thrashened

well i like cfh and there are always about 1-2 good songs on vdop and fbd but nothing reaches the 80s stuff !

  • shes got come on eyes , lalalalaa :D

  • Was This recorded@ Savvy's? pretty sure the intro was

  • Pantera was so much better as a Glam band then as a Groove metal band :P

  • @AlexanderEsa

    yes.

  • nice kick terry..one time me and my bro wher trying to see who could kick the highest..and he kicked so high he did a half back flip and landed on his face!! haha classic!! great video luv it!!

  • I love the way he changes guitars in the lead, especially the little fart of a thing at about 2:52.

So like Eddie Van Halen in those days.Great stuff, love it.

  • 2:24 sounts like a maiden song.. bu i can;t remember the title

  • That guitar solo is motherfuckin' UNBELIEVABLE. Easily one of the best Dimebag solos I've ever heard, including the post glam era. I love you so fucking much dude...we all miss you SO much.

  • @xXThrashyRashyXx Have you heard We'll meet again yet. Fuckin' increadable

  • @xXThrashyRashyXx

Sorry bro but i can ONLY click on the thumbs 1 time

  • @xXThrashyRashyXx

Sorry bro but i can ONLY click on the thumbs 1 time if not you would have a hell of a lot more

  • haha old pantera reminds me of a 2nd version of van halen mostly because of dimes heavy influence on evhs tricks

  • If Rob Halford from Judas Priest IS THE KING AND GOD OF HEAVY METAL, then Terry Glaze from early glam PANTERA, IS THE KING AND GOD OF GLAM METAL!!! Thumbs up if you agree..Terry rules period!

  • Wow Pantera had Joe Elliot on Vocals

  • Man Dime.....he was obviously born with a guitar in hand. If he had to leave us so soon, though, at least he died with a guitar in hand.

  • @1919shay Well said.

  • you can buy their classic albums on amazon for $20-$30. That's reasonable, but these were their best albums in my opinion so why don't they just release them like the rest?

  • @Ben0itZ wonder if its cause they were indy produced by their dad and TG has part of the rights or something. From my understanding the reinvention with Anselmo was kind of hand in hand with Cowboys and a record deal. Personally I like TG vocals better, but up the Irons and piss on Korn :)

  • @phunksound it very well could be. I think phil was a bit better but he only sang really good in one album, power metal. All the rest he screams and doesn't use much technique. Its all about how it appeals to you. Terry glaze is awesome too

  • men this sounds so fucking great!!!

no matter if it is glam pantera, is so fucking goooooood!!!

    dimebag was a genious!!!!

  • @theplayboy85 Ive been watching these vids today and Pantera could have easily takin over the LA Scene..Ratt was nothing compared to this..Freakin A !!!
