No. You don't start looking around for a firearm, grab it, and throw it up on your dashboard. When they come up to your window, you keep your hands on the top of the wheel and the first you say is "I have a firearm in the car." Then you say specifically where in the car it is (glove box, console, trunk, ect.) He'll probably tell you to get out of the car immediately, then ask for your consent to retrieve the weapon. having a firearm out in the open is only gonna get you a laser on your head.

Where do you live exactly? That is not how police act where I live in Southern California. I have only met a few police officers that were not complete A holes. I dont hate police at all. I have family members that are law enforcement. Friends also. The fact still remains that the vast majority of officers out here are willing to kick the living daylights out of you for fun.

@stitched83: I live in Southern Illinois (RedNeck country) We all try to get along with each other and treat each other fairly including police, I admit it wasn't always this good, People I've talked to about the past say in the 1970's-1980's it wasn't always so good but now we have great police here in most places..I'm sure there may be some bad apples somewhere but I haven't run into them yet.

They would choose to take what the cop dishes out and hope to get home than fight for what they believe.Most black Americans are very fearful of the law rather you know it or not.
