The complete absence of it in the introductory and training and recruiting materials I've seen. The difficulty I had in getting the guy pitching me to project costs -- no one wants to talk about expenses. No one wants to tell you about the pressure to buy tapes, and books, and seminar tickets.

Ok, well first of all that's not about Quixtar per se. You were dealing with an Independent Quixtar Rep. There's about a million of them registered in North America. If one of them doesn't want to talk about expenses, I wouldn't want to deal with them either - it's quite obviously a sensible part of any due diligence. So go find one who will!

What Quixtar materials have you seen? Quixtar doesn't produce that many materials. My guess is your talking about materials produced by IBOs and groups of IBOs. There are many such groups and they operate in different manners.

I'm also an entrepreneur, I've numerous businesses, and Quixtar is a legitimate one.

I'm honestly fed up with people who think they're original, saying Quixtar is a scam. I wonder if they also shop at Walmart, which, I'm sure they could dig up (google) more bad information about. Here's a tip, where people are involved, there are imperfections. If I pointed out every imperfection of someone and called them a phony because of it, would I be right in doing so? Your answer determins what kind of person you really are.

No it doesn't. The answer does not determine what kind of person they are. Who are you to be judge other people or to make that statement? Do you know what their experience with the company is and why they are trying to help other people see what Quixtar is really about? I'm honestly fed up with people who blindly support Quixtar. P.S. There's one thing I can't stand, and that's stupidity. "Quixtar is a scam, just not in the governments eyes." They oversee Quixtar on a consistant basis and recognize it as a business just as any other business out there. If someone thinks they're right in pointing out all those imperfections just to call them a fake, then I really think they are nothing more than a negative, controversial, critic. And merely being disagreeable doesn't help your case any..

What Dateline "uncovered" was a dishonest leadership. Quixtar dealt with them. It isn't that way in every organization. Say what you want, but Quixtar is the #1 internet retailer AGAIN for Health, Beauty and Nutritional Supplements. And they sure know how to throw a party!

I feel scamed involved with Quixtar, told it was not Amway it was a new Sister Company. Now told they are Amway used Quixtar to get agreements with partner stores and get America to believe in Amway. Amway has bad image for me to represent them. It is enough that Amway was a Sister Company of Quixtar, and that stigma, which took 7 yrs to over come, my team and I are X-IBOs real soon, there are just too many good home business plans out there to be FORCED into working for Amway.

Quixtar WAS a new sister company, and did so well that Amway got shut down in the US. Market research shows Amway's better known (yes some negatives, but also many positives) so they've decided to go back to the Amway name. Business is the same though.

Amway was not sued out of the US, that's utter BS. In fact Quixtar has announced they are reviving the Amway name. As for "only the top benefit" - if you mean the guys who produce the top results - you're absolutely correct. If you mean "top" as happens in a classic corporation, ie the CEO makes the most, then you're wrong. You don't understand how it works - which was evident by your pyramid scheme claim in the first place.

The owners started Quixtar as a separate company, after a few years most Amway IBOs had wanted to move to Quixtar, so they closed Amway. If you bothered reading the newspapers you'd know that they've actually decided to go back to the Amway name.

I don't wonder why the cops haven't shut Quixtar down yet. First, it would be considered a white collar crime and typically the cops are not heavily involved in white collar crimes, just the courts. Second, Amway/Quixtar learned its lesson early on and employs a very competent legal team. OJ would be jealous of that legal team. My only question is how do you guys sleep at night?

I can clearly see that you do not know how the business works or purposely ignore it. I understand that there are simply bad people in this world who are only out for money. I am sure the CEO/CFO for Enron slept like babies. They were probably able to justify what they were doing similar to the way you justify it. I am sure they didn't think of themselves as bad people. They just framed their perspective in some warped way and were capable of living with themselves.
