Hi....My compliments...but....I found out that de sound is not exactly the same as like Maestro Hank B. Marvin. For example: the solo (sound) needs a litlle bit more mid frequentions and the echo (time) is to short. Anyway...again...compliments. And wish you all the best! Gezinus...(Bonne-Fooi...One man Hobby band. Playing almost all Shad's covers) God bless you.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for your kind comments. It was fun to make this video, but I agree the sound is not exactly the same as the original. Few could come close to the recorded sound of the Maestro himself, with his great talent and the facilities of the Abbey Road recording studios. All the best to you and your music!
Thanks for the comments. I think the tone is mostly a combination of the pickups and the TVS3 echo unit. On this guitar I have Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (10-46) strings, but have since switched to D'Addario EXL115W (11-49) strings.
Thanks James, its been in Coventry UK for over a week now waiting for Prime Minister Brown's customs and excise to rip me off with their extortionate tax and imports. Its cost me an arm and a leg. I also have the Magicstomp but that may go shortly to go to the funding. I'm praying I won't be dissapointed.
The TVS3 is not a cheap piece of gear, but I think you will find it to be worth the cost and the wait. I have been thrilled with mine, and the guys at TVS have been great.
Thanks for the comments and congratulations on becoming the proud owner of a TVS3. I already had the PODxt Pro, which I am using here simply as a USB interface between the TVS3 and the laptop.
Hi James,
Yes you've really got the real vintage Shadows sound. No doubt whatsoever.
It's just for me to congratulate you.
Kind regrads

Hi,
My TVS£ is on it's way as I write, and a great sound with real space in that echo but can I ask you what part the Pod pro plays in your chan.
Thanks Tony

Thanks Ric! I thought the original lead sounded a bit more bluesy, but I was not unhappy with the overall sound.
