I listen to the Chilis, and just as it starts to get boring and repetitive, John Frusciante whips out something that just blows my fucking mind. They're all talented at what they do, but John brings a lot of good shit to the table. I hope Josh works out well, of course, but Frusciante's solo albums should be good, especially if he strips it down next time. Nothing greater than the anti-synth John Frusciante, a la Niandra Lades.

No, GnR was straight up rock and roll, hard rock, perhaps. As time went on, Axl became more and more of a prick, and so the band sold out. It's really sad, because Nirvana and GNR had that feud going on, but Slash and Izzy are really telented musicians. I'm waiting to see who joins Velvet Revolver, and hopefully it just gets better... I mean, John Fruscainte and Slash are all we've got in this fucking generation, man!
