Why are they talking in Tagalog? Arent these two from the south?

Yes, they are from the southern part of the Philippine Islands. But eventhough we have 170plus languages and dialects, each Pinoy knows the national language which is Filipino. Some can speak 5, others maybe more than 5. Imagine the islands the makes up the Philippines: 7,105. Each island probably has a good pool representative. Come and visit Philippines and you'll see that our life is bigger than just pool.

@tomasdpag731 I know Kiamco is from Cebu, they speak Cebuano. Corteza is from Davao, they speak Cebuano. So why are they speaking in Tagalog?

They were both speaking Filipino because I could not understand Cebuano. I do speak ilocano and itawes instead which they both do not understand. So we just used Filipino. I would rather say Filipino language instead of Tagalog because tagalog is just the language spoken by the tagalog regions. Filipino is more universal in the Philippines which can represent all 178 languages in all 7,108 islands according to a national declaration of our dear constitution. thanks.
