If you ever had the displeasure of being at a post-mortem examination of a infant who had been shaken to death, you would not think of it as a "free speech issue," a "cool app," or some other idiotic rant. You walk away from those things numb, wishing you could have done something to save him or her from a violent death. No, if anything it's the opposite way around. People who want to harm babies will get this app. People who have a child screaming in the back seat of a car will want to get this so that they don't actually harm a real child. I can see a lot of actual good that might come out of this. It might get their frustration out on the Ipod instead of the baby. There are a lot of good parents who have a one time snap. This might be a good way to actually protect a child.
