  • Nice Chevy Truck @ 5:18

  • Meant to say 'will never drive at night again'. :p

Thanks much; miss driving out this way - used to do it three times a month on my merch route: "....hysterical marker...draw...draw..ooo! rabbit!...draw..hysterical marker..." It really is serene, beautiful, peaceful and the town stops are fun.

  • Damn, they're STILL doing road work out there??

If you get a chance, ask at the Shell, Texaco or the DQ in Sonora about the lady that wanders that stretch of 277 after dark. I had to do it once - never. again.

  • Thanks again for sharing yet another great video of the Hill Country. Personally though, after having done the the Leakey to Camp Wood segment on the last trip, I would've known better than to label the Texas landscape as "flat and boring". That section was anything but, at least from what I saw. I dare anyone to go to sleep on that stretch!

  • Great video by the way**

  • I hate when people call Texas flat! Take a drive down TX-163, US 277 to Del Rio, Ranch Road 170, or any Hill Country road. None of these are flat, I mean North Texas is flatter, and the Panhandle, but that's not the entire state.. Go to Big Bend! Texas is a beautiful state.

  • @BigMattFromTexas

Texas is flat. Sorry but it is flat and boring. Go to California or Colorado then come back to Texas and you will understand.

  • @danie123182

Been to both, Texas definitely isn't like either, but I guess you have to live here to appreciate it...

  • Those USA roads are straights and couple of corners. In Poland on that kind of road everyone would be driving with about 70, 75 mph (100, 110 km/h) :))

    Thx 4 video.

  • dunno if i would consider Texas flat . i mean how many other states have elevation changes of -5 ft & sea level to 9k feet AMSL ? not to many. this video was far from a boring landscape enjoyed it .

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 very true... there were more hills than I expected, even in the "flat" parts... and I climbed to the top of Guadalupe Peak, so I really should know better!
