Gaz is awesome at songs about unrequited love, I stop short of calling them 'sad', because some of them are upbeat in terms of tempo or overall message. I didn't realise how many songs like that Take That have: this, Pray, Wasting My Time, Another Crack In My Heart.

They must have recorded the version for the Take That and Party album originally. After that, someone must have fiddled around with it, changed the production, and the record company would have decided to put it out as a single. And then when they recorded the second album, they put the single version on that.
