I used to suffer from SAD quite badly...and i've got these lights which go into the normal light fittings in the rooms and they mimick daylight and they've really helped :)

In or body we have this thing called melatonin. when it gets lighter we produce more melatonin. it makes us feel awake. In the winter there is less light so we produce less melatonin

However some people have a disorder called SAD/Seasonal Affective Disorder and that is when the lack of melatonin causes the blues or depression

Its caused "seasonal" because in the winter there are shorter days-less light

Myles has the blues..and i guess he has been diagnosed with SAD

if you're struggling with seasonal affective disorder you can take Fish Oil to help with it. It's helped me so much. My doctor told me to take 1000UI 3-4 times a week. I've been doing it for about 8 weeks and my energy level is so much better and the seasonal depression is affecting me a lot less. I picked up a bottle of Fish Oil pills for about $10 and there is like 200 tablets, so it's pretty cheap. It will take about 4 weeks to notice a difference, but it helps so much.

Hey Myles I use to deal with SAD issues and I got a lightbox deal that replicates sunlight in my room. It sounds pretty stupid, but it does work.
