  • Heeeeeeey i have same black berry too!! i luv this colour so muchhh!!!

  • @alvin691 torx screws are really good for mass manufacturing because they dont torque out of a screw head (thus stripping the head) very easily and thus can be used in situations where the people or machines cannot be relied on to torque appropriately.

  • could a 8330 screen replace a 8320 screen??

  • thanks! great help with this video!

  • I dropped my BB 8310 and now it won't turn on

    any ideas???

  • For the T6, i used one of those tiny slotted screwdrivers that comes with an eye glasses repair kit. It happened to fit just fine.

  • Gracias. it helps a lot.

  • Torx screws are faggotry...

We all know it. Mini philips FTW

  • hey great video, Now all I need is a great 'real-neat-tool-kit' torx set of drivers , but where do you get ones that are tough enough ?.

I've got to fix a Berry that fell into a dogs water bowl and it has to get fixed in ten minutes from now , (triple yikes) or she'll stamp her feet and shout . Luckly only the centre ball is the only wet bit so I won't be long before it dry's itself anyway while i'm staring at it.

Thanks for the neat intruction video !.

    :)

  • What if i dont have t6? my only came with t5?

  • @BhFanatik17 well then i guess your not taking your phone apart.

  • its alot harder than it looks

  • This video was great, thank you.

P.S. To all the laydees out there that may not have a Torx screw handy, I used a metal hairpin stretched out with the little rubber thing taken off at the end. Not recommended proabably but worked a treat for me! My Fiancee dispares!

  • i have one and tht one looks so new why would you do tht to one of the best phones it the world but really cool!!

  • Great video. Helped out alot.

  • Thanks a lot man!!!

  • Just did this. Success.

  • is this hard

  • @bk11121988: Yes, it's as hard as your dad's cock up your ass.

  • wow, i took a knife and got the screen cover out of the plate, got the keyboard all the way out, but cant get the top part of the "gold" in my case silver case off. is it because i need to take out the screws?

  • i stripped my screw lolz wat other tool can i use since it is now a circle!?!

  • ur fucked

  • use a bigger driver, and replace the screws...

    p.s. lolz

  • My t6 torx screw got stripped half way in blackberry. Now I can't put the faceplate back until I completely put the screw in.

    Anyone got solutions?

  • @Alvin691 agreed

  • Ive had my curve for a long time now and just tonight the black rubber part (the side with the headphone and mini usb plugs) popped off. Theres now a gap between it and my batter cover. I cant get it to click back in or anything. Its extremely annoying, almost to the point where i dont want to use it anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments as to why this will not fit back in? please help.

  • u probably broke it, u should buy a new side rail its like $10 i think

  • I figured it out. One of the small black hooks on the inside of the rail was bent and preventing it from being flush with the battery cover. I unbent it and all was good

  • Dude! Thanks for the video, it helped tremondously! Thanks again

  • will this work for 8330?

  • thank u

  • I am having problems with the hole for the headphones. Is it possible to take it out if i disassemble the phone? I think there is a problem with the contacts becaue i can only hear music in one ear

  • what do you mean if you rip off the antenna sticker its over cause i think i might have ripped a lil piece off when removing the bottom clip

  • i just did exactly what you said. on the rails you have to pull hard and you have to seperate the front piece from the lcd thats almost glued on. be careful. and thanks!!

  • thanks a lot for your help!!!

  • if i just bought the casing would i still need to remove the railing

  • Will this work on the 8330 model?

  • thanks man i bought the housing for it cuz my is all scratched up

id give you a hug but here goes a manly pat on the shoulder :]

  • thanks! that help a lot!

  • would it be the same for the 8330É

  • that was very helpful, thank you

  • ok theres a short in my blackberry curve...it turns off sometimes...if there is anyone nice enough to help me out msg me...

  • Thanks for the video! I just did it and it helped alot...:)

  • great video I did it myself.thanks

  • Is there any way to take it apart without unscrewing it? I need to get to my keyboard but I messed up the screws and they won't budge!!!

  • look on ebay for the FULL cover. it includes a new keyboard and trackpad and all of the tools. you can get them in any color you like for about $40 shipped.

  • I'm pretty sure that you have to unscrew it. Be sure that you are using the right size and that you haven't stripped the screws.

  • just a bit of suggestion when taking apart small electronic devices: get a holder or a cup to hold those tiny screws or you'll end up with a loosen device when you're finished reassembling.

  • I did this and found two small pieces that look like diamonds rolling aroun. Where did these come from? damn

    I used T5 and T5.5

  • is there a way to change the charger on it, I took mine apart, because it wouldnt power on as lame as this is gonna sound, there was lint inside the males of the charger of phone, i plucked it out with tweezers and the prongs all bent, they are so fragile didnt know

  • t5 screwdriver doesn't work for me..is there a t3 and where can i get it from?

    Good video

  • @alsmoth I bought a precision set from McMaster Carr. It included T5, T6, T7, TPT8, T9 and TPT10. It also has a ton of hex drivers and other precision drivers. It was definitely more $ than ordering online, but I was able to pick up same day rather than waiting for shipping since there's a McMaster warehouse down the street from my office.

  • thanks!

  • Awesome video! Now I can change my housing! Thanks!

  • Mine fell into the pool..... I think im going to cry.

  • Thank you very much! I bought a new housing on Ebay thinking they would send instructions and they didn't. I wouldn't have been able to do this without your video!

  • my t5 screws arent comin out any suggestions

  • probably used the wrong kind of screw driver, perhaps a veryyy small flathead will work

  • I used a small allen key but it got stripped (its almost a circle shape now, lol) the tiny flathead worked very well

  • which tiny flathead? mines got strip too
