Thank you so much for the video. Blush is such a challenge for me. I don't know if its my brush or my actual blush, the way I'm applying it. I've tried applying it first to the apple of my cheeks, start closer to my ear and drag it to the apples of my cheeks and I've learned the latter works better for me. The nose trick was awesome too! But its probably best not to smile when you're applying blush...Goss makeup artist says that when you smile and apply blush, when you stop smiling, the colour drops and ends up really low on your face, looking very unnatural and scary :/ But as always, keep up the great work!! xx

When I break out my pimple tends to get dry so when I put my makeup on even when I use a moisturizer sometimes it really shows & just looks like a dry pimple with makeup. I hate it! Anyway you could help? Oh and throughout the day my skin gets oily/: just not on the pimples!

I was told you shouldn't smile when you apply blush to the apples of your cheeks because when you stop smiling and the skin drops down to its 'resting' position, the blush can look too low and age you. Sometimes I do think to myself 'whoa she's trying to blend a lot of product onto her face It's guna look baaaad' but when you're done it looks gorgeous and not cakey at all. But as someone said,I understand why you put on that amount of blush just to fade the colour with powder. But love you x

Do you think you could do a video on what color blush is best for what skin tones? I have medium skin with yellow undertones and blush can sometimes come off too bright and i've tried so many different colors and aplications. i actually end up doing my makeup around my blush sometimes so i don't look like a clown and i'd love to not have to do that and i feel like i'm just not finding the right color even though i have tried sooo many. I have a really oily t-zone and really dry cheeks :P It's kinda bizarre. but if I put a powder on my cheeks it just sinks into my pores, and makes my makeup look really cakey and nasty. I have to use a cream blush! But mostly I just use this lipstick palate that I have. Gotta love tips and tricks from mothers :)

CASSY! I suffer from acne and I just [accidentally] discovered something. I was washing a sonic brush every day (only once) because people said it would clean out your pores. But it wasn't working for me. Then I switched back to my Shu Uemera brush (not electric, and only at night. I'll just use fingers in the morning), and within DAYS my acne started to subside again. I think it may be possible to over exfoliate your skin....and irritate acne further. Have you tried this?

I like to apply my blush lightly then build it up if I need too. That way I won't feel the need to blend it out later with more foundation powder, which can sometimes make everything look cakey.

I understand your application process, but I can't help but wonder: why do you put a lot of blush, and then blend it out with yet more powder, instead of simply putting on less and blending as you go? It would take less time, and would mean less layers of products on your face which are liable to clog your pores/break you out/make you look cakey.

I get that you may have taken that habit, but I find it a tad surprising. Kudos on how often you manage to post videos though.

i apply my blush with a stippling brush! partially because i use the tarte amazonian clay blush in dollface, which is super super pigmented. also, the size of that brush fits perfectly on the apples of my cheeks so i just dab it lightly. generally it is pretty even as well! great vid cass! love it.

How would you apply blush so you have a natural flush? For my school makeup we're only allowed discrete make-up, so you can tell that you're wearing it but not over the top make-up. Whenever I apply my foundation for school, (After powder and blush) my face just looks blank with pinkish cheeks that make me look like a clown. I've tried blending my blush but it doesn't seem to help. Sorry for the long question, I wanted to make sure I was clear (I probably over explained....:/)
