    had to google 'bout 'Pickerel' in Germany it's called 'Hecht'

    I haven't watched the complete vid to the taste test (right now) since i still have a slow i-net connection at home..

    but it looks good! Pickerel is low in fat so if you don't watch, it dries out too much.

    But setting it in water is a good hint!

    As always no offense but i'm not so sure about the raisins in the filling, man...

    Raisins go great with Turkey... but fish? I think i'll pass on them.. *haha*

I'm almost postive that my local market dosn't have pickerel and I do like to fish but I don't know where to catch them. Fresh corn off the cob when cooking is the shit man! Another great vid.   • Looks fuckin' great, man. And for you fellow Americans, that's walleye in the States. Canadians call walleye pickerel..and you can't beat the taste of them. Easily the best tasting freshwater fish we have in North America.

    Chain and grass pickerel are completely different fish. Not sure if they taste good, but they're small like a tiny northern pike. So go out and fish for some walleye and enjoy the best inland fish we have to offer. Crappie are a distant second.
