I was fresh outta high school dat summer. dis peacock now, i've been seeing it all my life. but I remember I was looking for saturday morning cartoons, and i guess i read up sont'n you click on, and it said nbc saturday morning bumpers. Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life, Family Ties, Golden Girls and even a few more during the 90s (Frasier, Fresh Prince, Will & Grace, Mad About You, etc.)

NBC used to be good. I watched it growing up in the 90s. Loved Wings and Seinfeld.

Probably scared of us noticing the decline in quality! There's a network in the UK called ITV that bought out all its affiliates in the 1990s and the network's a load of crap now! just search YouTube for "ITV" and you'll find loads of vids with people begging ITV to bring the local stations back!

Yes it irks me that CBS would be so uptight about having their promos up on youtube. I mean its virtually free advertising. Networks work so hard to get their brand out there so It is very strange that CBS woudl make it their duty to take all that away. Why are they so afraid????

Good Gravy, NBC did so much self-promotion it made you sick!

They even had a musical special with many of their shows' stars, lead by Nell Carter, singing the praises of NBC, I kid you not, it was gosh-awful!!

LOL that was NBC in the 80s. I saw that special as a child. It's on 80stvthemes.com if anyone wants to take a peek at it. Fireworks filled peacocks, dancers, Nell Carter singing "NBC.. Let's all be there!" Even as a child I was like, "What the hell is all this?" LOL NBC was so concieted after they became #1 too. Well can't blame them. They did come out of the dark. ABC was concieted and cheesy in the 70s too when they're were #1 with their "Still the One" promos. Ugh! LOL
