hey hey! Have you ever read the book How to Shake the Online Poker Money Tree ? I got some very helpful tips from it and now play like a shark and just won a large tournament without problems.
Blackjack is the game to play. Earn as much money as you want by playing blackjack and using a secret system that guarantees 65% success ratio! Don't believe me? Come look at my record, view my profile and then visit my website to learn more.
You guys are missing out. Why would you play fake online poker when we can play real poker at pokerview. We can all see each other through webcams helloooo. Its SICK!
George, the guy in blue who is at the left from the dealer button has to start (ok I know) but why he has always 2 option like check and bet and NO fold? I understand why he can check because he starts and there is no chips in the pot. He can raise. But what's the minimum raise? Still the double of the Big Blind even if the game is already on the river? And why he never get the option to fold? I thought you could always fold? Can someone reply on this please?
Okay man... If you wanna have a heads up match my full tilt username = janacu1258 :)
And yep
Ya might have saw people talkin all over their facebook wall that ya could now sign up usin the code SPECIALS @ the Full Tilt web site.

Quick question. I just had a question about Mike's explanation on Natalie's potential raise. George bet only four chips. Mike said you have to raise at least the bet before you. He said in that instance it'd be eight chips. Shouldn't it have been @ least four chips instead of the eight? The part I'm talking about is 2:40. Thanks for the information!
I know if you bet only four chips, it'd be a call but say the person in front bets the four chips. If you wanted to raise, can't you raise five? That would be @ least four chips plus one...
@paulh428 But then everyone could just keep safely raising by one chip - raising without any significant cost, making the difference pointless - making for a very slow growing pot.
this is just like LIVE poker. bet, bet, bet, bet, call, call, call, call. no one ever folding, not even steve with ace high with a bet and call ahead of him on river.
Ok this is a newb question. On the last round of betting the small blind bets 15 and the last bet was 8. I thought you had to double the bet if you raise so shouldn't that be 16? so you start fresh each round? Sorry im learning! lol
a straight is 5 cards - you could have 9, 10, J, Q, K or 10, J, Q, K, A in a straight including the jack, queen and king. The order of winning hands, from best hand to worst, is as follows: 1. Royal Flush 2. Straight Flush 3. Four Of A Kind (Quads) 4. Full House 5. Flush 6. Straight 7. Three Of A Kind (Trips or a set) 8. 2 Pairs 9. 1 Pair 10. High Card Hope this helps :)
however not very amateur friendly i would say. Instead of just talking about the possible options he should also point out the forbidden or what i may call them "stupid" moves.
For example, a friend sometimes fold a card even though no one raised before. In other words he could have just as well checked. I know that is very dump and any smart person would know better, but amateurs don't do that because they are stupid, but because they still can't comprehend the game flow
you can check until someone bets. However, if someone DOES bet, you have to call or raise to stay in the pot, you cannot check. This is because you have to match whatever bet has been made. For example, if you are first to bet, and you check, and the next player bets, you will have to call that bet if you want to stay in the hand.
What if a player goes "all in" on the first round of betting, all the players call him and the next round the betting starts. During the second round another player bets everyone else decides to call that player. How can the person who went "all in" "call"? What happens to the player who goes "all in" on the first round?
this is a more complicated situation. When this happens, there will be a side pot for the people who still have chips to bet in the second round. The person who is all in can only win the chips that were in the pot in the first round of betting. The people who can still bet can win the chips in the new pot (after first round), but can also win the chips in the old pot as well.
Boring for anyone who already understands holdem rules, but a godsend for anyone who doesn't! Most video tutorials leave out some of the more 'obvious' stuff, but this guy reiterates every step, which is a huge help.

@paulh428 I was confused by that, too. I think by betting eight chips she was raising his bet by doubling it - four base plus four raised.

How do you know when you're allowed to check?
youcantbreakdance 2 years ago
Should be if you're the first to bet, or if the person in front of you bets and/or your bet is equal to the largest bet on the table.
Roadmaster383 2 years ago
you check after the flop if your first to act or else everbody before you also checks. and if your in big blind you can check preflop

what exactly is a "high card?" does it just mean that you have a high value card?
ihaveawesomevids 2 years ago
Just a little thing. Royal Flush isn't an "acutal" hand, it's just the nut straight flush like the Ace high flush or the Ace high straight.

When one player has all the chips play cannot continue, So the game ends.

How much are the different chips worth?
Gurglemouthwash 2 years ago
It varies. I think that white=1, red=5, blue=10, green=25, black=100, purple=500, orange=1K, chocolate/brown=5k, and yellow is 10K.
pimpmyride666 2 years ago
white/blue-1 red-5 green-25 white/black-100 purple-500 yellow-1K, and no standard beyond that.
