You look at the Jewish Talmud and they have verses that say that Jesus is in hell and Mary is a whore, etc. Talmudic Jews spit on Christ. Muslims at least believe in the Virgin Birth. Islam is actually closer to Christianity than Judaism today.

Christianity is successful from adherence to respect and faith, Islam, as far from history can tell, has grown from suppression and the idea of "conversion or death". Naturally, of course Jews aren't as close either, but they don't believe Christ was the Messiah, but a teacher. Muslims say the same.

The Qu'ran states many times that Christians and Jews are second to the holiness of Muslims, and that we twist the belief of God and Christ, when in retrospect, Judaism and Christianity were first, Islam didn't come along until at least the early 7th Century. Christianity formed at the beginning of the new millenium into the AD.
