I know, but after every recording for the show there's a live gig (1 hour) for the crowd, so the necessary sound equipment is already there.

There were also a lot of artists who didn't want to come to the show 'cause they couldn't sing live, now they do. :)

Anyway, a lot of them still playback indeed :)

It doesn't. It's possible to do a live session nowadays.

Those are VERY rare, it's possible but the show disencourages it as causes much more expenses ;)
