  • Horrible interviewer. Self-centered babbler.

  • I can't believe that she chose phychology over filming at first, she is very intelligent and beautiful. I love her!

    Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @damnthedj okay good... So I'm not the only one!! XD haha

  • i love her so much , and i adore this film! <3

  • I really respect an actor who is actually intelligent and well educated as Natalie is.

  • I hate interviewers that suck up too much to the person they're interviewing.

  • @bajillionballet15: Natalie has never said she danced all the parts. In fact, she did compliment her double in several interviews. Also, Natalie was classically trained in ballet for several years when she was younger. Her first go at ballet was long before Black Swan. I think she did an amazing job of making me believe she was a ballerina, not an actress.

  • She has to be the hottest actress in Hollywood. So beautiful

  • after i saw no strings attached i fell in <3 with her

  • @t204life lol damn funny you say that, so did i after no strings!.. i have some vids of her now on here :D

  • @jarheadjourneys me too

  • what the hell is that thing on the table behind the interviewer??

  • @Peppepoppldoppl wow...you actually said that.

  • @MultiCrunchbar Are you Jewish?

  • @Peppepoppldoppl No. I just don't care about ethnic or religious backgrounds of people. I think she is a good actress and she is smart and pretty, and I really don't care if she's Jewish.

  • @MultiCrunchbar She is Jewish.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl yeah....but does that really matter?

  • @MultiCrunchbar Yes, she is Jewish.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl I know she is Jewish. Do you not like jews or something?

  • @MultiCrunchbar She is JEWISH.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl I know she is Jewish! ok

  • @MultiCrunchbar Did you also know that she is Jewish?

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Alright now I know your screwing with me. Are you one of those undercover non-trolls just trying to get funny reactions out of people? if so, nice job.

  • @MultiCrunchbar BUT, did you know that she is Jewish?

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Oh your good. And yes I know she is Jewish. :)

  • @MultiCrunchbar I have news for you, FRESH news.

    ...Natalie Portman is Jewish.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl and you can suck her fathers dick!!cause u like dicks!!Nazis like dicks!

  • @Rina25tir Guess what? I am Jewish.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl haha ok now i'm going to stop replying. ok. I know she is jewish. and I don't care. :) Hilarious.

  • @MultiCrunchbar I just want to tell you one thing before you leave.

    Natalie Portman is Jewish.

  • @MultiCrunchbar Are you Jewish?

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Nope, last time I'm replying. :)

  • @MultiCrunchbar Judaism.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Fuck you 1 million times! You are so damn boring and so fucking mentally sick!

  • @Rina25tir I couldn't be bothered less about muslim "individuals" from a fucking piss-stain like Albania. You are a cancer in Europe, Albania.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl It's a fact that I'm not muslim.I'm anti-muslim,like many other albanians! Albania is the oldest nation in Europe, with the oldest language, and protector of Europe from the Ottoman invasion. What about your country? The little fanatic whore of the Nordic area!

It's a fact that you are sick, and jewish people are much better than you! You are a big..nothing!

  • @Rina25tir Wrong, Albania is not a European country. Albania is an ANALBANIAN country. You didn't "defend" Europe, the Slavic Europeans did. You defended your little shitstain called Albania.

It's a pity that the Ottoman Empire didn't crush Analbania completely and eradicate it's population, then we would have an easier time without Analbanian trash. Also, do not take pride in boasting about the assets achieved by MEN. You are a WOMAN, and you are from ANALBANIA.

  • @Rina25tir Shut up muslim, do as the Males tell you. Go back to the kitchen and prepare the halal meat you muslim.

  • @Rina25tir The little fanatic whore? You honestly did not have anything else to say? Hahahahahaha.

  • @Rina25tir Jewish people hate Albania very very very much. That's why you are not welcome in the EU, NATO or any other big get-together. Hahahahaha.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl It's not true that jewish ppl hate Albania.we've protected Jewish in our country during WW2,and they have helped Kosovars during Kosovo war.

Albania is already in NATO. And it will be in EU after it reaches the european standards. We are not Turkey.

You should control this big hate inside of you.Islam is our enemy, not jewish people.

  • @Rina25tir Lol no, Jewish people hate Albania. You are only in NATO because you want to be safe with a couple of others. Typical MUSLIM behaviour. Without NATO you would belong to Serbia.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl You're so ignorant.I'm sorry for you.To Serbia??Albania has been independent since 1912.

wtf are u talking about?I told you,Albania is not Turkey. And I might be more anti-islamic than you,and than the rest of europeans.

Stop this stupid hate propaganda. You're behaving like a typical muslim.

  • @Rina25tir Don't you remember that you are the muslim?

Never did i utter a word about Turkey you filthy islamic scum. Turkey and Analbania are both collusion with each other. Both like Islam and will follow until their death. Fuck off from the continent of Europe, because you are muslim scum.

  • @Rina25tir Muslim muslim muslim hahahaha

  • @Peppepoppldoppl your comment doesn't affect me.We both now that I'm not muslim.Little nazi!

  • @Peppepoppldoppl So what if he was muslim?

  • @TheAmrator Dumb comment. A real fucking dumb comment.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl How so?

  • @TheAmrator So.......BORING

  • @Peppepoppldoppl What?

  • @TheAmrator "What?" "How so?".

All of your replies are boring questions.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Lol dude, I don't even know what you're fucking talking about.

  • @TheAmrator You are so extremely boring that one might consider slaying you.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Lol Whatever dude.

  • @TheAmrator Stop leaving comments you boring cunt, you're not going to get the "last word".

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Why would I care if I got the ""last word"" or not?

  • @TheAmrator You're still replying like a little complaining schoolgirl, so you obviously care.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl Same here lol, I love her now.

  • Next WrestleMania(XVIII): Undertaker vs Randy Orton: 20 - 0!!

Taker Pappa Rulezzzz!!!! Taker Pappa 4 EVER!!!! Taker Pappa 4 PRESIDENT!!!!Taker's the Best!LOL

  • I like her cause shes a slut

  • I remember when Natalie Portman got her head shaved for V for Vendetta, and she looks great even without hair.

  • i love her movies...but i love watching her talking...during interviews, she is awesome.

  • i used to like her sooooo much. when i first saw Mars attack, i was like who is that hotty? but now....i dunno. She kind of annoys me and comes off as all high and mighty. Maybe its just the hormones from her pregnancy? haha.

  • @missyxxmischa No hormones, she has always been a snob

  • @cabinthewoods90 took me a while to realise it. :C i've moved on to idolising better and hotter things now. yay.

  • the fat guys annoying.

  • I love Natalie Portman................

  • i love her smile :)

  • God, why is Natalie Portman so lovely?

  • I would just like to say, Natile did NOT do the dancing you thought she did. It was Sarah Lane. It does not take a year and a half to dance like a professional ballerina. I am not trying to bash on Natilie she is a wonderful actress, but it is degrading to every ballet dancer out there working hard non stop for years. All I'm saying is, Ballet dancers work much harder than you think. Natalie did not dance. sorry.

  • @bajillionballet15 Its true that Nathalie, didn't dance all the parts, but she did dance most of it, it's just the hardest parts, that she had a doublette to do, but she really has gotten good during just one year

  • Harvard-educated? Really? If she would stop saying 'You know' every 5 seconds she would sound more articulate. Look at this video youtube.com/watch?v=Z2ZDiyTlOr0 - Tom Hiddleston, her co-star in Thor - a less popular actor but more eloquent than she is.

  • she sounds like mellisa villasenor

  • HOT1

  • she's so hot and talented. Nothing more to say

  • Intelligence, classic beauty, class, kindness- These are the true elements in a lady, and natalie has them all. I adore her so much. Natalie Portman = True love

  • every since star wars episode I, I just want to be on top of her. Sorry, I'm a bachelor deal with it haha

  • Is this interview even real ? Looks like his voice has an echo and hers doesnt. Is this even recorded at the same time ?

  • Yes, the dancing was visually stunning, but on the whole, what really sold me was the acting alone. If the story had been given a different backdrop, I think the story would have been just as effective because it was brought forth beautifully from each actor. While I always liked Natalie as a person, I didn't become a huge fan until this film. She just took my breath away.

  • There is no perfection in good music!

  • that guy seems like he was doing the interview from the restroom sitting on the fucking toilet hahaha

  • She embodies the absolute perfect woman. Extremely talented, intelligent, dedicated, beautiful and well-mannered. A perfect role model and an inspiration to all...

  • @benjiimaster I agree, but her she looks emaciated. Sad that any performer would change body weight for a role.

  • @benjiimaster And she's vegan, well she used to be.

  • @benjiimaster You forgot she has a good sence of humor aswell and a great family.

  • @benjiimaster I agree....but listen to 'Natalie Portman Rap'.

  • Comment removed

  • @benjiimaster also arrogant, rude, hypocrite, wooden, mannered, two-faced, fake...the list goes on

  • @benjiimaster actually she's not very bright. That's strange because she's jewish. There was very pathetic moment in Behind the actors studio ,with her because of that.

  • Do any of you find it weird that the voice of the interviewer echoes whereas Natalie's doesn't? Recorded at different times at different places?

  • Her parents sound great, there are so many parents in hollywood who just want to make money from their children's success these days it's nice to hear that her parents just supported her and didn't push her into being an actress. I really hate pushy parents!

  • @Lexilou630 she had to get to know her evil twin

  • Portman also mentioned her double on David Letterman and numerous other interviews if people actually cared to research.

  • "I mean, there's no way, obviously, I could have learned, you know, fouette turns en pointe for the film. That's something that takes a lifetime to perfect.

So there's a wonderful dancer, Sarah Lane, who did the more complicated pointe work. But I did the stuff that was possible to learn in a year."

    ===

    From Portman's NPR transcript

  • I love her, and this guy is a very good interviewer

  • I jus finished watching Black swan, I didnt really understand the movie...

  • @ThereYouGoGirl quite simple really natalie need to play the white (good) and black(bad) swan, now she's perfect for the white swan, but has trouble with the black swan, but mila kunis is perfect for the black swan. so she struggle to get it and whatnot.

  • @EnvelTheTrader yeaa i understand tht part, but why in the world does she go so crazy? because shes under pressure from the role or because its a result to her trying to be so perfect?

  • @ThereYouGoGirl both but more on the wanting to be perfect side. she's trying to heart so so just flips out.

  • @EnvelTheTrader ooooooh, okayy well I understand now. thnxx.

  • @ThereYouGoGirl There are actually quite a few messages in the film. Important ones being the transformations of people's personalities as they move into the spotlight and the pressure of fame/performing. It is a reflection of show business. How it doesn't care about the people (Nina), the only thing that matters is a perfect show. It is this quest for perfection that causes Nina to lose her mind. there are other themes too. Look up Roger Ebert's interpretation for more information.

  • she just showed her huge lack of knowledge and respect for ballet ...

and by the way : perfection is not reachable in ballet

Nina's character is probably the most implausible movie's character ever !!!

  • @FyreBalletDancer Natalie is more than a ballerina in this film she plays a deeply disturbed and mental unstable young woman ! Of course Nina's character is implausible no one can sprout wings and no ballerina has the level of psychological problems (i hope anyway) as Nina does, but that is what cinema does it takes a streotype and exaggerates it to the extreme and Natalie portrayed Nina's brilliantly!

  • @Analeigh999 i meant implausible OUTSIDE of the sci-fi elements. for ex. i find that Harry Potter is a plausible character in the sence that his personnality and actions are believable according to what he has lived, psychologically speaking, it's possible that someone acts the way he does according to his upbringing etc. but Nina's character is not plausible as a dancer (outside of the hallucinations). i agree NP played amazingly i never said the opposite

  • @Analeigh999 and i dont think it's so great that cinema uses stereotypes and exaggerates them ... if they had made a movie about some jew that is super rich and selfish (and other stereotypes) you would have seen a whole community scream the heads off about racism, and i think they would've been right ! so i think it's normal for some ballet dancers to have problems with this movie and the images it gives ... -peace out-

  • @Analeigh999 trust me, any competitive art form is stressful as f**k

  • I Love you Natalie, and this interview was fantastic. Thanks.

  • @TheMateoRules well that would be a good thing.

  • She's a amazing, awesome actress!! And the movie is perfect! But...

what the hell of ornament in the table behind her??!!

  • Movies are made to be appreciated and to take you on an 'emotional journey'. Why people are criticizing Natalie Portmans private life is beyond me. Why should she talk about her life if she doesn't want t? And the comment 'maybe her life isn't so perfect as she makes out' Reality check...nobodys life is perfect!

Regarding the 'stunt double' Being a stunt double in movies is just that, the anonymity goes with it, it's a job that the person gets paid for, and she was paid to dance FOR Natalie P.

  • @travellingtale Stunt doubles leap from burning buildings, yes? I'm hurrying to catch a performance of a famous stunt action thing - I think tonight's stunts centre around a girl who is betrayed by a Prince & who loses her mind. She dies & she & lots of other dead, jilted girls are supposed to stunt him to death. Don't remember too many burning buildings, exploding cars etc in Giselle - some ballet bits tho, which don't take long to perfect as NP can testify. Surprised she needed stuntwoman.

  • @travellingtale I agree with you, that's the life that the stunt doubles chose, and I have a lot of respect for them. But please, why can't they just enjoy the movie without all the bitching. Black Swan is a great movie. So what if they used stunt doubles.

  • @1989blindside Let's try a little role-reversal. Imagine in a live classical ballet performance an actress comes on to say some relevant lines of, say Shakespeare, that only a 'real' actress could do! Imagine it was NP & she was credited only as 'Hand double/lady who walks on/STUNT double - and then even more marginalised after the performance as if her contribution, altho' actually vital, was meaningless. Do you think the acting profession would get a bit pissy?

  • @travellingtale the whole "stund double" thing is not about who much recognition Sarah got or if she got paid for ir or whatever, it's about people being sick and tired of Hollywood LYING to us and INSULTING people ... that's it

  • 0:33 love seeing that done to Natalie by a guy. Wish it would of went longer. I'd do the same thing to her. She is very pretty.

  • so she becomes a prima balerina in 18 months? okay:/

  • @Justasimpleservant74 Yup, that's why I'm recommending my young students pack it in now and return to it much later in life, and just train for 18 months! Must hold down a part-time job too, to mimic NP working on 2 films simultaneously! Will save a lot of blood sweat and tears, not to mention money! Pointe shoes are so expensive these days! Oh, I'm talking myself out of a teaching job! lol

  • @MrKLT1945 lol

  • She is a lovely person, and every moment in black swan was vea

  • saw your highness yesterday and it was hilarious and black swan was an incredible film, favourite actress? :D

  • Black Swan was perfect and Your Highness was hilarity. Hmm.

    What's the common denominator?

  • uuummm.

    MY NEW FAVORITE ACTRESS

  • Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinallly, an interview without the corny pop sugar cheese stupid usual questions!

  • she was brilliant. stunning

  • PRETTY

  • Favorite actress, handsdown

  • MY FAV MOVIEEE!! *-*

  • Love her!

  • I HATE HER

  • @kevocar123 but whyy!?!? :/ she's SOOOOOOOO HOT!

  • @kevocar123 haters gonna hate

  • @kevocar123,

    WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

  • she didn't do any of the dancing.

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder why she keeps her private life so secret, even to all of her fans. I wonder if her life is as seemingly perfect as she makes it to appear like in the public eye. In all honesty, I know nothing about her besides how she is in movies, interviews and pictures. Otherwise, I get a very one-sided view about her.

  • Ummm.... she studied ballet, but that doesn't make her a ballerina. If you really watch her in the film and take out the parts that her stunt double did that they put her head on, she's really just an amateur nothing to write home about. They did a good job just filming her upper body and face throughout the movie to hide her not so great dancing.

  • Her and Chloe Moretz are my favorite actress' I love em both :)

  • I thought beauty was supposed to fade with age?

  • Natalie Portman is a Harvard Alumni.

Yes she did all those dances and went through months of vigorous training 6 days a week for 12 hours starting from 5:30 along with filming etc.

She is very intelligent along with beautiful some things that not every actor has is the education.

    She's great and well rounded.

so to everyone. shes not fake. shes great.

im just tired of reading these retarded post about peoples assumptions about her being atheist etc. get your facts straight first.

  • @fartknocker0308 The bottom line: Sarah Lane is the prima ballerina who made this film while Natalie contributed the face and acting talent.

  • @fartknocker0308 i agree, shes not atheist, shes a devoted jew, which is disgusting

  • @fartknocker0308 NP did MOVES - Not the same as DANCING. Poor creature couldn't even waddle on as BSwan in POINTE shoes, wears FLAT ballet shoes children wear every time she 'moves' as the prima ballerina. Bloody farcical - was this the result of all that training? Yeah, right. Anyone off the street can learn those moves in no time at all. Did DA mean her flapping 'ballet' bits to be a spoof? If so, sure worked! Scary? Dramatic? Only if you are 5 years old. 12 hrs a day - give us abreak!

  • Natalie Portman is a home wrecker. Don't believe me? Just ask Isabella Boylston, Benjamin Millepied ex long term girlfriend. Or even ask Robin Wright, Sean Penn's ex wife. Natalie Portman clearly isn't the innocent princess that she makes herself out to be. I wonder what these women have to say about her. Luckily, what goes around, come around. Looking at pictures of Natalie Portman lately, she doesn't look happy being pregnant or even engaged, despite claiming to be "indescriably happy."

  • @24jamestown 1. You're sick.

    2. She's an atheist if I'm not mistaken.

  • @lughlongarm76

    she's jewish

  • @lughlongarm76 She's jewish actually.

  • @TheeOneWhoTalks She said in an interview that she didn't believe in an afterlife. She has Jewish ancestry and was indeed born in Israel, but I don't think she's a practicing Jew.
