this is an awesome set of videos...I am going to try it today. I make custom cakes...and am moving into the "fairy side"...my cakes are getting more artsy....I will definitely use the wings on my sugarpaste fairies. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us on here.
Hello I was really excited when i saw your video so i went to a craft store and bought a uchida marvy embossing gun, but when i went over the wing to try and make a hole it shrunk the plastic. I looked at your videos and you put the heat gun close to the wings, so how come mine shrink badly. Just curious where did you buy your gun and what brand is it?
@tobi2moodring Sometimes the holes can be very pretty. Just make a matching hole on the other wing. To keep the plastic from melting... use your heat gun in small circles. Keep it moving constantly.
The glitter changes color with heat, when you use the blow dryer or heat gun. Gallery glass is around $5 a bottle. It's been years since I bought some, but that was for a large bottle.

Thank you for sharing your talent with all! I was wondering though if I don't have a heating gun could I use my blow drier?

@MortishaMama Yes, if it gets really hot. Some people use an open flame... but I'm not that good, I just burn it.

Hi Angela, What kind of celophane do you use? Is the kind that is used to shrink around a basket or something?
Thanks,
Bev
P.S. Even if I never get to do all the things you show, I am so happy to be able to watch each video! Keep 'em coming!

Just the cheap cleophane that is on a roll for wrapping paper.
And thank you.

Did I miss where you explained why the glitter changed color?
I haven't heard of gallery glass before- how much is it a bottle?
Thanks:)
